Civivi Outlaw Muk G10 Folding Knife - Black

An everyday use (EDC) folding knife with a durable and ergonomic design. The Outlaw Muk model features a Nessmuk profile blade made of 14C28N stainless steel hardened to 58-60 HRC, which provides durability, wear and corrosion resistance. The black-colored handle is made of G10 laminate, while the flipper and Button Lock guarantee comfortable handling and a high level of safety during use. American knifedesigner Trey Sprinkle, known as American Outlaw, is responsible for the knife's design.

14C28N steel

The blade is made of 14C28N stainless steel hardened to 58-60 HRC. The chosen material is characterized by good abrasion and corrosion resistance, as well as low susceptibility to chipping and breaking. The surface is finished with the Black Stonewashed method, which reduces light reflection and is scratch-resistant.

Nessmuk profile blade, flat grind, flipper

The blade with a Nessmuk profile has a length of 88.2 mm and a thickness of 3 mm. The blade is executed with a high flat grind. The blade's shape, with a distinctly marked belly, provides very good cutting efficiency and allows for tasks requiring high precision and accuracy.

The smoothness of opening is ensured by a system of ceramic ball bearings, which significantly reduces resistance during operation and allows for quick, one-handed blade deployment using a flipper.

Handle made of G10 laminate, deep-carry clip

The ergonomically shaped handle is made of G10 laminate. This material ensures appropriate structural rigidity while maintaining a lightweight important in an everyday carry knife. The deep-carry clip allows for discreet and secure knife carrying, and the option to mount it on both sides of the handle allows you to adjust its position according to individual preferences. The slim construction of the entire knife ensures that this model fits well in a pocket and does not cause discomfort during everyday carrying.

Button Lock mechanism

The Button Lock stabilizes the blade in the open position, effectively preventing accidental folding. This makes using the knife safe even in difficult conditions. The lock's design ensures intuitive and convenient operation with one hand.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
Button Lock feature
Button Lock
Button Lock (also known as Plunge Lock) is a locking mechanism in folding knives based on a spring button. When fully opened, the tang enters a notch at the base of the blade and locks it in the working position; when closed, the same element acts as a detent. The design allows for smooth opening and closing with one hand and increases safety, as it does not require the user to place their fingers on the blade line. Thanks to its simplicity and reliability, the Button Lock is often used in EDC knives and collector's models.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Blackwash feature
Blackwash
Blackwash is a finish that combines oxidation (graphite-black shade of steel) with the Stonewash technique. The blade is first coated with black and then treated in a drum with abrasive. This creates an aging effect - a dark background with lighter abrasions and micro-scratches. This gives the knife a raw, “used” look, masks scratches well, reduces light reflections, and works well in tactical knives. Thanks to its combination of practicality and aesthetics, Blackwash is popular in EDC, outdoor, and combat knives.
