Civivi Outlaw Muk G10 Folding Knife - Black/White

An everyday use (EDC) folding knife with a durable and ergonomic design. The Outlaw Muk model features a Nessmuk profile blade made of 14C28N stainless steel hardened to 58-60 HRC, which provides durability, wear and corrosion resistance. The black and white colored handle is made of G10 laminate, while the flipper and Button Lock guarantee comfortable handling and a high level of safety during use. American knifedesigner Trey Sprinkle, known as American Outlaw, is responsible for the knife's design.

14C28N steel

The blade is made of 14C28N stainless steel hardened to 58-60 HRC. The material used is characterized by good resistance to abrasion and corrosion, as well as low susceptibility to chipping and cracking. The surface is finished with a satin method giving a semi-gloss effect.

Nessmuk profile blade, flat grind, flipper

The blade with a Nessmuk profile has a length of 88.2 mm and a thickness of 3 mm. The blade is produced with a high flat grind. The shape of the blade with a distinctly marked belly provides very good cutting efficiency and allows for tasks requiring high precision and accuracy.

The smooth opening is ensured by a system of ceramic ball bearings, which significantly reduces resistance during operation and allows fast, one-handed deployment of the blade using the flipper.

Handle made of G10 laminate, deep-carry clip

The handle with an ergonomic shape is made of G10 laminate. This material provides appropriate structural rigidity while maintaining a low weight, which is important in a daily carry knife. A deep-carry clip allows discreet and safe transport of the knife, and the possibility of mounting it on both sides of the handle allows the position to be adjusted to individual preferences. The slim design of the entire knife makes it fit well in the pocket and does not cause discomfort during daily carrying.

Button Lock mechanism

The Button Lock stabilizes the blade in the open position, effectively preventing its accidental closure. This makes using the knife safe even when working in difficult conditions. The lock's design ensures intuitive and convenient operation with one hand.

14C28N feature
14C28N
14C28N is a martensitic "nitro" stainless steel developed by the Swedish company Sandvik (now Alleima). Its chemical composition has been optimized to achieve high hardness through nitrogen (0.11%) rather than carbon, which maintains corrosion resistance and increases edge durability. The carbon content of 0.62% contributes to good cutting properties, while chromium (14%) ensures high resistance to rust and oxidation. After proper heat treatment, the steel achieves a hardness of 55-62 HRC, which provides an optimal balance between sharpness, strength, and corrosion resistance. Thanks to its fine-grained structure and ease of sharpening, 14C28N is a popular choice for the production of kitchen, EDC, hunting, and tactical knives.
Button Lock feature
Button Lock
Button Lock (also known as Plunge Lock) is a locking mechanism in folding knives based on a spring button. When fully opened, the tang enters a notch at the base of the blade and locks it in the working position; when closed, the same element acts as a detent. The design allows for smooth opening and closing with one hand and increases safety, as it does not require the user to place their fingers on the blade line. Thanks to its simplicity and reliability, the Button Lock is often used in EDC knives and collector's models.
G10 feature
G10
G10 is a lightweight and extremely durable material, considered one of the best for knife production. It is created by pressure-pressing fiberglass with phenolic resin, which gives it high durability and resistance to mechanical damage. It is chemically inert, does not conduct electricity, and retains its properties at both low and high temperatures. In terms of parameters, it is similar to carbon fiber, but its production is much cheaper. G10 handles are manufactured by precision cutting and cutting, which increases the cost of processing but ensures a perfect fit and long knife life.
Satin feature
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.
