Very good kitchen knife, all other knives have been put aside since I bought it. Comfortable and non-slip handle, good balance and good blade profile. It is very comfortable to work with. Very versatile. Decent 4116 steel (yes, I know "playdough", ha ha ha...). Such a simple thing as a knife, yet the nuances matter, C.S. really knows how to make knives. It passed the tomato test. And a sheath is included, you can take it camping and prepare delicious and healthy food in nature.

A handy knife for kitchen tasks. Easy to sharpen and keeps its working sharpness for a long time. Definitely worth trying, in my case it complemented my other knives perfectly.
-
A solid cleaver, well-made and at a good price. I was looking for something like this for occasional use, and it works great for the tasks it was designed for.
-
Perfect for meat processing. The blade is of ideal width and thickness for such tasks. The handle is comfortable and does not slip in a wet hand. The steel is easy to sharpen. I recommend it.
-
Great knife, I use it on fishing trips. It's amazing. I recommend it. I use something else in the kitchen, but this one is the best for by the water. It arrived so sharp that it drew blood right away… ;)
-
As a field kitchen knife, it performs excellently. The large belly and relatively thin blade handle chopping and slicing very well. At home, it nicely complements a larger chef's knife. Sturdy enough to handle basic outdoor tasks if needed. The steel is virtually rustproof and extremely easy to sharpen. A good product at a good price.

It depends on what you like; for me, it's a bit too bulky for a kitchen knife. You should definitely judge for yourself.
-
A good knife for a military chef.
-
Great kitchen knife. If you don't misuse it, it will also work well for camping. I recommend it. It's lightweight.
-
I have it in my collection, but it's hard to find a use for it in the kitchen beyond slicing beef. The build quality is okay, but I wouldn't buy it again.
-
An interesting knife, I bought it for my collection. Old Hickory in the Cold Steel version. I recommend it for collectors or Cold Steel enthusiasts.
-
In my opinion, Cold Steel fillet knives are excellent! This model – 8” – is very long and complements my set of knives. Most often, I use a shorter knife for filleting – a note for those looking for their first fillet knife.
-
Very nice travel kitchen knife.
-
A good kitchen knife, not just for filleting. Comfortable handle. Good steel.
