Great folder for a reasonable price. Quality as expected from CS—very good. Ergonomics and mechanics are excellent on my copy. I think it would put many more expensive folders to shame.

8Cr13MoV stainless steel
Featuring a blade crafted from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, this knife delivers an optimal combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and straightforward maintenance. Following a thorough heat treatment process, the blade attains a hardness rating of 57-58 HRC, guaranteeing reliable cutting performance under demanding conditions.
Clip-Point profile blade, satin finish
Outfitted with a Clip-Point profile, the blade measures 76.2 mm in length and 3 mm in thickness. A smooth cutting edge is combined with a high grind for precision performance. Finished by the satin method, the blade boasts a semi-matte look, providing an appealing visual effect and enhanced resistance to scratches. Blade geometry is engineered to deliver outstanding cutting performance while ensuring robust durability.
Durable handle with GFN
Handle scales crafted from rugged glass-fiber reinforced nylon (GFN) deliver lasting durability, with an ergonomic contour and textured, non-slip surface for a confident, secure hold. A dedicated finger groove increases tool control, even in wet or grimy conditions. Daily carry comfort is maximized by a spring clip on the handle, permitting attachment to a belt or gear. Fully reversible, the clip can be configured for both right- and left-hand operation. An integrated lanyard hole at the handle’s end enables easy attachment of a safety cord or lanyard.
Back Lock with additional safety
A classic Back Lock system secures the blade when open. For added safety during transport, a sliding lock also holds the blade firmly in the closed position. Quick, one-handed deployment is made possible thanks to the blade’s double-sided thumb stud, designed for efficient thumb operation.

Lightweight, quite inexpensive, and cuts like a razor.

On a daily basis, I use a much heavier folder, the SR1 Lite, also from CS, so I had to get used to the Hunter. At first, because of the lighter weight and thinner design, it seemed delicate, but after a while I could already tell it’s another solid knife from Cold Steel. Very sharp, and the double locking mechanism gives a complete sense of security. When folded, it doesn’t bother you in your pocket and its weight is hardly noticeable, unlike the SR1, which pulls your pants down.

Good ergonomics and decent mechanics for this price category.

The steel could be a little better, but it's still standard Cold Steel—tough as hell, with great handle ergonomics.

A very proper design. Cheap and solid construction that allows you to be convinced of Cold Steel knives. Great for EDC, very durable, and its eye-catching colors make it hard to lose. Only advantages for relatively little money. I recommend it!
