4116 Cryo Quenched

The carbon content (0.45-0.55%) ensures good hardness, while chromium (14-15%) provides corrosion resistance. The steel also contains molybdenum, vanadium, manganese, silicon, and nickel, which support its strength. The cryogenic process stabilizes the steel, increases wear resistance, and maintains sharpness for longer. After heat treatment, it reaches a hardness of 55-57 HRC, making it easy to maintain and resistant to corrosion. It is widely used in the production of kitchen knives and premium utility tools.
Satin
Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Great knife. Ultra-light, solidly made, razor sharp, and beautiful. Despite the narrow handle, it fits well in the hand and the texture ensures it doesn’t slip. A product definitely worth recommending, and I will probably buy more from this series myself.

My first purchase was the Bowie and the Spike as a pair. The back of the blade is probably for a firestarter... It sits firmly in the sheath, the make is rough, sharp with a chain. Cold Steel is IT.

Light and compact, yet it is still a full-fledged knife. A good recipe for a decent fixed-blade EDC knife. Decent workmanship and good price, I encourage you to try it.
