Length and weight: suitable – smaller than the Espada XL, but still with good reach; similar in size to the Voyager XLs, but heavier (which can be a plus for occasional chopping). It sticks out of the pocket less than the Rajah II or Espada XL, and is easier to grab compared to, for example, the Spartan, which sticks out of the pocket very little. Lock: Tri-Ad Lock works reliably, as always. Demko plate: if the Demko plate doesn't engage immediately, it's worth gently tilting the knife outward when pulling it from the pocket, so it catches the edge better. Smooth opening: if you have problems with smooth opening, it's worth disassembling the knife and sanding the sliding part on the blade with fine sandpaper (2000+ grit). This surface should also be regularly oiled. Handle: fits well in the hand, provides a secure grip. Summary: a good compromise between a combat-ready size and everyday usability.

A large and durable model from the Espada line, whose design is inspired by Spanish Navaja knives. A collector’s knife that retains all the functionality of a folding knife and is ideal, for example, as part of an outdoor enthusiast’s gear. The blade, featuring a modified Clip-Point profile, is made of high-quality Japanese AUS-10A stainless steel.

The blade is 140 mm long and 3.7 mm wide. It features a modified Clip-Point profile with a hollow grind. It is made of JapaneseAUS10A stainless steel, which offers a good balance between edge retention and fracture resistance, and is also easy to resharpen.

The blade features a thumb wheel accessible from both sides, allowing you to easily open the knife with either your right or left hand. In addition, thanks to a specially cutout design, the disc can function like Emmerson’s “patent wave” – when pulling the knife out, the tab catches on the edge of the pocket, resulting in the blade opening instantly.
In the open position, the blade is locked by a reliable Tri-Ad Lock, which is an advanced version of the Back Lock. Unlike its predecessor, it engages much deeper, and under load, it rests against a pin that limits the blade’s opening, which further stabilizes it. Currently, it is the most reliable and durable locking mechanism used in mass-produced folding knives.
G10 laminate handle
The handle consists of a steel framework to which black G10 fiberglass-epoxy composite scales are attached with screws. The handle is ergonomically contoured, and its non-slip texture ensures a very secure grip.
spring clip
Comfortable everyday carry is ensured by the spring-loaded clip on the handle, which allows the knife to be clipped to a belt or the edge of a pocket. The clip is reversible and can be mounted in a tip-up position for both right- and left-handed users.
