Thanks to these summer promotions, one day I'll go bankrupt ;). Luzon is a machete, not an ordinary knife. Of course, I already have one, which is always in my backpack, but I couldn't resist another. I recommend shopping at militaria.pl

Cold Steel Luzon Medium 8Cr13MoV Folding Knife
The EDC folding knife, crafted by American knifemaker Mike Wallace, comes equipped with a Clip-Point blade profile constructed from 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, renowned for its excellent wear resistance. A satin finish lends the blade a sleek semi-matte look. Deployment is offered via both a double-sided thumb stud and a flipper, while a Spring Leaf Lock mechanism provides secure blade lock-up. The handle, made from durable glass-reinforced nylon (GFN), ensures a firm, slip-resistant hold. For everyday convenience, a spring clip makes carrying the knife effortless.
8Cr13MoV stainless steel
Engineered from Chinese 8Cr13MoV stainless steel, the blades deliver a reliable combination of edge retention, corrosion resistance, and ease of sharpening. Optimized heat treatment results in a hardness of 57-58 HRC.
Clip Point blade, satin finish
Featuring a smooth blade with a Clip-Point profile, this knife boasts a length of 102 mm and a thickness of 2.75 mm. The flat grind enhances cutting efficiency, while a short fuller positioned along the spine decreases overall weight without compromising rigidity and durability. Enhanced with a finish applied via the satin method, the blade sports a semi-matte surface that not only delivers an appealing aesthetic but also bolsters its resistance to scratches during operation.
GFN scales, spring clip
Rugged glass-reinforced nylon (GFN) scales offer a sturdy, slip-resistant grip thanks to their aggressive texture. A lanyard hole type opening is integrated at the butt of the handle, making it easy to attach a safety cord. Secure and convenient carry is ensured by a spring clip affixed to the handle, enabling attachment to a belt or the edge of a pocket.
easy opening, Spring Leaf Lock
Deployment of the knife is facilitated by a double-sided thumb stud as well as a flipper, which, when opened, serves as a compact cross guard to effectively stop the hand from sliding onto the blade.
Once deployed, the blade is held firmly in place by a robust Spring Leaf Lock, enhanced with an extra safety mechanism to guard against accidental closure. Disengagement of the lock is accomplished via a slider integrated into the handle.

GFN (Glass Filled Nylon) is a nylon reinforced with glass fiber, offering low weight, high durability, and resistance to moisture and many chemicals. The material performs exceptionally well in demanding conditions, maintaining its strength even under intensive use. This knife has redefined the term "blade" xD My wife, when she saw it, just said: "you're crazy" xD Finally, something that fits well in the hand, a handy folding saber ;) The bearing action is very nice, and opening it is pure pleasure. Fairly well sharpened. But those dimensions—they impress, regardless of anything else. Compared to a few others (including the Pocket Bushman from CS)—pictures still don't do justice to its size. I absolutely recommend it, even urge you to get one! For defending your home or even a small village :D

Mr. Wallace was inspired by the Far East, but I think he could have read Sienkiewicz's "With Fire and Sword." Luzon is almost Longinus Podbipięta's Zerwikaptur... Everything works perfectly, sharp out of the box. Opening is smooth, majestic for this size. What more can I say... VeniVidiVici...

The knife is a blast! The pictures don't do justice to its size. The blade is very well sharpened. It fits in my pocket but it's not small. Compared to the Sanrenmu Land, it's a monster.

I bought it based on reviews... and thank you to the Militaria.pl community, the knife is great. Actually, you can't call it a pocketknife, it's more like a small folding saber. Great craftsmanship, delivery as always great. I recommend it.

I have this one and its bigger brother. Both are great. Good sharpness and craftsmanship. The size is also decent. Cold Steel is a solid brand, just like the store militaria.pl.

Luzon is simply great. Impeccably made, sharp, and then there's the size. I'm very happy to own it and can't wait for it to appear in the store again. Recommended.

Cold Steel Luzon Large is a really big and well-made knife, feels good in hand, looks beautiful, factory sharp so be careful :) I recommend it to everyone :)
-
Great knife! Very good quality for this price. It may not be suitable for every task, but its sturdy, springy look is just impressive. It's huge, almost up to my elbow, and I can grip the handle with both hands. The steel is not bad, though not miraculous—appropriate for the price. Among the drawbacks, I can mention a very stiff liner, which bent several times all the way to the end, but after a few challenging returns to the previous position, the problem did not return. Very lightweight knife, even a bit intimidating. Very powerful, suitable for those who want a solid, masculine Cold Steel at an affordable price.

My copy returned for a warranty claim but it was rejected. I don't argue with that because apparently that's just the nature of this knife—a matter of the lock. When opening the blade quickly, the liner lock engages so deeply that without something to tap it with, you can't close the blade. The service stated that with such a large blade, this is normal. Otherwise, it's a good piece of knife at a good price.
-
A big knife, I recommend getting familiar with the dimensions before buying. The mechanics are fairly okay. Pretty heavy, but it's a lot of fun. I recommend trying this model.
-
The knife makes a big impression right out of the box, especially if you've only handled standard-sized folders before. It's quite sharp from the factory, and has some heft. Thanks to the weight and size of the blade, it opens very easily with the flipper, sometimes even too far and the liner lock jammed. The additional lock is a good idea at this size. Thanks to the affordable price, almost anyone can try the Luzon personally. I recommend it.
-
There's a small problem: the website description says the knife is made by Cold Steel USA, but the knife arrived 'Made in China', a bit of a dishonest move. This should be corrected.
-
A solid knife, all positives.
-
A large, massive folder. Despite its size, handy and functional with a comfortable clip... additionally, to my surprise, it fits perfectly in a typical jeans pocket. I recommend it!
