Silver Eye Elite is a lightweight EDC folding knife designed by award-winning knifemaker Andrew Demko in collaboration with Cold Steel. It features a Spear-Point blade made of S35VN stainless steel, which offers excellent corrosion resistance, and a satin finish. S35VN stainless steel
The blade, with a Spear-Point profile, is made of high-quality S35VN stainless steel (the successor to S30V) produced using powder metallurgy - it is characterized by high corrosion resistance, easier sharpening compared to S30V, and, thanks to its finer grain, even greater resistance to chipping.
Spear-Point blade with satin finish
The blade, with a Spear-Point profile, is 89 mm long and 3.5 mm thick. The blade edges have undergone a double satin finish. Opening the knife is made easier by a hole in the blade, which is strikingly adorned with a silver-colored ring.
Tri-Ad Lock
When open, the blade is locked in place by the reliable Tri-Ad Lock, an advanced version of the Back Lock. Unlike its predecessor, it engages much deeper, and under load, it rests against a pin that limits the blade’s opening, providing additional stability. It is currently the most reliable and durable locking mechanism used in mass-produced folding knives.

CPM S35VN
CPM S35VN is a stainless powder steel developed by Crucible Industries in collaboration with Chris Reeve, used in premium knives. It is an evolution of the popular S30V steel, offering a better balance between wear resistance, stainlessness, and ease of machining. Carbon (approx. 1.4%) is responsible for high hardness, while chromium (approx. 14%) gives the steel very good corrosion resistance, and vanadium (approx. 3%) extends edge life and improves cutting aggression. After hardening, it reaches 58-61 HRC, combining edge durability with fracture resistance. The steel retains its sharpness for a long time and is easy to sharpen, commonly used in EDC, outdoor, tactical, and collector's knives.
Tri-Ad Lock
Tri-Ad Lock is a lock developed by Cold Steel and Andrew Demko, considered one of the strongest systems in folding knives. Its key element is a stop pin, which takes the pressure from the blade and distributes it to the handle, protecting the lock from wear and overload. The mechanism is designed to self-adjust over time, which maintains the reliability of the lock even after prolonged use. In tests, it has proven resistant to loads of up to hundreds of pounds, confirming its durability.
Carbon Fiber
Carbon fiber is a composite material that is exceptionally light and very strong, considered one of the most advanced materials used in knife manufacturing. It is made of thin carbon fibers embedded in epoxy resin, which are then pressed and hardened to form an extremely rigid and resistant structure. Materials, build quality, and power are pluses, but the cutting properties and price... this knife is rather for brand fans, at this price you could get, for example, a Storm Claud.
