A folding knife with a slender, elongated design, inspired by Malaysian Kris daggers, characterized by a serpentine, wavy blade. The blade is made of Japanese AUS-10A stainless steel. It has been finished with a satin finish, giving it an attractive semi-matte appearance. The knife opens using a one-sided thumb stud or a serrated flipper. A reliable Spring Leaf Lock protects the blade when the knife is closed. The brown handle is made of Zy-Ex composite.

Japanese stainless steel AUS-10A

The knife blade is made of Japanese AUS-10A steel, which is characterized by its strength and excellent resistance to corrosion and wear. After proper heat treatment, it achieves a hardness of 58–61 HRC, making it well-suited for everyday use.

Blade profile inspired by Kris daggers

The blade, with a slender profile inspired by Malaysian Kris daggers, is 101 mm long and 3 mm thick and features a smooth cutting edge. The blade is finished with a satin finish, which gives it a semi-matte surface, enhancing its appearance and increasing its scratch resistance. The distinctive wavy blade geometry ensures an aggressive cut and excellent penetration capabilities, while maintaining high rigidity. This profile is particularly well-suited for tactical applications

Slim handle from Zy-Ex composite, steel clip

The handle is made of Zy-Ex composite, a glass-fiber-reinforced polyamide. This material is characterized by high mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and moisture resistance. The slim grip with a non-slip surface ensures control over the tool, even with wet or dirty hands. Numerous perforations in the handle give the knife a modern look and also reduce the weight of the construction.

The knife is equipped with a tip-up steel clip for convenient everyday carrying.

Spring Leaf Lock

When open, the blade is locked in place by the Spring Leaf Lock system, which is an improved version of the classic Liner Lock. Thanks to an additional spring-loaded locking bar that secures the liner, the knife will not accidentally close, even during severe shocks. The blade features a thumb stud, which allows for quick one-handed opening. Additionally, thanks to the serrated flipper, the blade can be opened simply by pulling the knife out of your pocket. Once open, the flippers form a small double-sided cross guard that protects your hand from sliding onto the blade.

AUS-10 is a high-quality stainless steel produced by the Japanese company Aichi Steel, considered one of the best in the AUS steel series, used mainly in mid-range and high-end utility knives, produced mainly in Japan and Taiwan. The carbon content (0.95-1.1%) ensures high hardness, while chromium (13-14.5%) guarantees very good corrosion and abrasion resistance. The steel also contains manganese (up to 1%), silicon (up to 1%), phosphorus (up to 0.025%), and sulfur (up to 0.025%), which affect hardenability, impact strength, elasticity, and machinability, improving structural stability and maintaining mechanical properties. After hardening, the steel achieves a hardness of 58-61 HRC, offering an excellent balance between strength, edge retention, and ease of sharpening. It is comparable to 440C steel, differing in carbon content and the addition of vanadium, which improves structural homogeneity and increases abrasion resistance.

Spring Leaf Lock
Spring Leaf Lock is a folding knife lock by Cold Steel, combining a classic Liner Lock with an additional spring bar. When the blade is opened, the spring secures the liner, preventing accidental folding even during strong shocks. To close the knife, first move the safety guard aside and then release the lock. This mechanism increases safety and reliability during use.

Zytel
Zytel is a glass fiber reinforced nylon, mainly used for the production of knife handles. It is manufactured using injection molding, which allows for easy forming of durable components. This material is lightweight, durable, resistant to abrasion, cracking, temperature, and moisture, and provides a secure grip thanks to its non-slip surface structure. Zytel can be more or less flexible depending on the glass fiber content. Due to its durability and performance characteristics, it is popular in bushcraft and tactical knives.

Satin finishing is one of the most popular blade finishes, achieved by grinding the steel with fine-grained abrasives. Parallel micro-scratches remain on the surface, giving the knife a technical, matte appearance. Satin finishing has both aesthetic and practical significance - a smoothed blade is easier to clean, and the slightly reduced friction promotes smoother cutting. Depending on the direction and intensity of polishing, different effects are achieved - from a matte finish to an almost mirror-like finish. Satin is valued in both utility and collector's knives because it emphasizes the structure and quality of the steel while maintaining functionality.

    An interesting, small (as for Cold Steel) folding stiletto. A very interesting combination of a 4-inch blade and a low weight of the knife. Thanks to the shape of the blade (numerous "curves" on the edge), it cuts materials nicely despite being quite thick just behind the cutting edge. In addition, the rather thick tip means there is no fear it will break or bend during thrusting or cutting. For food preparation it's rather mediocre, a normal clip point/drop point works better. If someone is looking for an affordable, lightweight 4-inch blade—it's worth considering.
