A warm winter jacket insulated with natural down. RDS-certified down with a fill power of 700 cuin delivers excellent heat retention while keeping weight to a minimum. An elongated back offers extra protection for the hips, and the construction is ideal for both mountain expeditions and daily wear.
Omni-Heat Infinity layer
The jacket’s interior is equipped with a Omni-Heat Infinity lining that incorporates gold, thermoreflective dots across its surface. These dots reflect body-generated heat, increasing thermal insulation while preserving breathability. An expanded dot arrangement promotes effective airflow, helping to maintain optimal thermal comfort during demanding activity.
Moisture and dirt protection
Constructed from recycled nylon, the outer layer is fortified with Omni-Shield technology. This material resists moisture, minimizing water uptake to deliver reliable defense against light rainfall and debris. Advanced fiber structure speeds up drying time, optimizing performance in shifting weather conditions.
Adjustable hood and spacious pockets
Designed with an adjustable hood and a bottom drawstring, the jacket effectively shields against wind and reduces heat loss. Materials with Omni-Shield technology are coated with a layer that resists water and dirt, as well as the external factors, up to 76 degrees Celsius. Clothing with Omni-Shield technology dries 3 to 5 times faster as it doesn't store moisture like traditional fabrics, thanks to which it remains lightweight even when wet.
Omni-Heat Infinity is Columbia's thermal technology that uses gold dots on the inside of the fabric to reflect body heat. It provides more effective insulation than the earlier Reflective version, while maintaining breathability. As a result, clothing with Omni-Heat Infinity effectively protects against the cold without overheating the wearer. It works well for outdoor activities in cold temperatures.
