Equipped with the IKBS ball bearing mechanism for effortless one-handed blade deployment via dual-sided thumb stud or flipper, which also serves as a crossguard to safeguard your hand from slipping onto the blade. The integrated Assisted Opening system, powered by an internal spring, guarantees rapid and seamless opening. A robust and dependable Deadbolt lock secures the blade firmly when open.

Handle scales are ergonomically shaped from tough black aluminum. Steel clip (tip-up/r) allows for secure attachment to belt, pocket edge, or gear, ensuring convenient transport.

I bought it about 2 years ago, and the knife's workmanship is top-notch, the blade holds firmly with no play whatsoever, either vertically or horizontally, and that's for the pros—now for the subjectively felt downsides: opening with the flipper requires overcoming a pretty strong resistance. For its size, the knife is quite heavy. In addition, this is the most uncomfortable knife I own—due to the short handle plus guard/flipper, I feel cramped holding it, and on top of that, the clip on the handle digs into my hand. All of this makes it an impractical knife for me, which is a shame because it's extremely well made and, in my opinion, very attractive, with a military look.

A timeless design that I really like. Personally, I think D2 steel performs better than MagnaCut. As for the size, I recommend purchasing the larger model in the tanto shape. However, the new lock unfortunately does not work well; the button is very small and it's difficult to operate, plus the assisted opening spring makes it hard to close the knife with one hand.
