Backpack offering a 73.3-liter capacity finished in MultiCam camouflage, constructed from nylon highly resistant to abrasion and wear, and further strengthened by a Rip-Stop weave. The system comprises three main components: two backpacks (Skycrane J79 and Little Brother G1) and a removable LP1 top flap, which also functions as a utility bag.

Engineered for modular expansion, the design supports integration with additional gear, including the A4SS scabbard for transporting long guns. All three elements of the Skycrane II can be deployed individually or combined as part of a modular setup.

Constructed from nylon known for its exceptional durability, the backpack is optimized for heavy-duty use. To enhance resilience, the fabric incorporates a Rip-Stop weave that helps contain any damage and prevents it from expanding. Integrated zippers come with pulls for ease of use when opening and closing.

At the core of the set is the J79 backpack, featuring a generously sized main compartment outfitted with MOLLE/PALS system webbing. The design incorporates Eberlestock’s proprietary Cam Expansion System, enabling an increase in cargo capacity as well as the integration of supplemental gear elements. Numerous pockets and compartments have been included to facilitate the efficient organization of equipment.

The second element of the module is the Little Brother backpack, offering a total volume of 35 liters. Access points are provided at both the top and front through a zipper closure. The backpack is fitted with a hydration bladder holder, a radio compartment suitable for use with PRC-117 radios, and dedicated pockets for essential gear. A special tunnel along the rear panel enables the secure attachment of a weapon cover.

A detachable top flap with a 5-liter capacity enhances the model's versatility, serving as a separate bag that can be carried on the hips or over the shoulder using the included carrying strap. Secure storage for small gear is ensured by zippered pockets, and full compatibility with the MOLLE/PALS attachment system is provided.

Equipped with multiple MOLLE/PALS system straps and laser-cut LCS (Laser Cut System) holes, the model enables secure attachment of extra gear. Compression straps featuring buckles serve to minimize the pack’s size or to attach additional equipment. The rectangular Velcro panel on the front is designed for effortless placement of patches, emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or various Morale Patches.

The carry system is constructed around a lightweight yet durable frame that utilizes a blend of aluminum and plastic to deliver superior stability and prevent backpack distortion. Back sections feature a layer of breathable mesh, dramatically improving comfort during extended wear or when active in higher temperatures. This mesh design promotes excellent air flow and minimizes moisture build-up.

Ergonomically contoured shoulder straps along with adjustable waist and chest straps guarantee a precise, comfortable fit throughout long treks. An integrated carrying handle is attached at the top, providing convenient options for lifting and transporting the pack.

MultiCam represents an advanced camouflage design, engineered in 2002 by the American company Crye Precision in partnership with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) under the Objective Force Warrior initiative. The primary aim involved developing a highly adaptable camouflage pattern capable of delivering effective concealment across multiple terrains and under diverse environmental conditions. Featuring a palette of seven distinct colors, the MultiCam pattern blends subtle gradients across greens, browns, and beiges. This configuration enables seamless adaptation to its environment, taking on green hues within woodlands and transitioning to browns and beiges in arid or desert landscapes. In Central and Eastern Europe, MultiCam demonstrates exceptional performance during autumn or amidst dried vegetation. Gaining international acclaim, MultiCam has been adopted by numerous military forces and elite units worldwide. In 2010, the US Army officially selected this camouflage for troops deployed in Afghanistan, superseding the Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP).
