Fjord Nansen Aruba II 2-Person Tent

2-person tent with a simple igloo-type design. Equipped with external pole sleeves that allow the flysheet to be pitched before the inner tent, so shelter can be prepared in the rain without exposing the inside to getting wet.

A waterproof flysheet, laminated seams, a polyethylene floor, and a fibreglass framework provide basic protection against moisture and structural stability. Inside there is a 2-person inner tent with pockets and attachment points to help organize equipment. Compact dimensions and low weight make it easy to take the tent on any trip.

The flysheet is made of polyurethane-coated polyester. The material provides waterproofness of 3000 mm/m2 effectively limiting the penetration of rain and moisture into the inside of the tent.

The polyester fabric is lightweight and resistant to use. The PU coating increases its resistance to water and creates a protective barrier on the surface of the flysheet. All flysheet seams have been laminated. The protective tape covers the stitch lines.

The tent floor is made of polyethylene with a waterproofness rating of 3000 mm/m2. The material creates a tight layer separating the inner tent from the ground and limits moisture penetration from below.

The floor covers the inner tent area, protecting it from contact with wet grass, damp soil, sand, and minor dirt. Polyethylene is lightweight while also resistant to the loads associated with pitching and using the tent.

The inner tent measures 220 x 130 cm and has a height of 105 cm. It provides sleeping space for 2 people and room for basic luggage. The inner tent material is made of polyester.

The design allows airflow and reduces moisture build-up during sleep. The inner tent separates the users from the flysheet, creating an internal resting space. One entrance is located on the vestibule side. This arrangement helps reduce the number of structural elements and simplifies tent operation.

The tent is equipped with a framework made of fibreglass with a diameter of 8,5 mm. The poles form a structure that supports the flysheet and gives the tent its igloo shape. The external placement of the framework simplifies setup in the rain and allows pitching to be combined with simultaneous protection of the inner tent.

The flysheet is equipped with guy lines that increase the tent's stability in windy conditions. Their bright colour improves the visibility of the lines after dark and reduces the risk of tripping. The set includes steel pegs for securing the tent and guy lines. They allow the structure to be anchored in properly prepared ground.

The inner tent features practical pockets and attachment points. They help organize small items used during overnight stays. An additional ceiling-mounted pocket increases space-organization options. It can hold items that should stay above the floor and remain easily accessible.

A repair set is included with the tent. It allows basic service tasks to be carried out during a trip, for example securing minor damage to the fabric or structural elements.
