Temperatures and usage conditions
The usage temperature ratings of the Hadsel sleeping bag are specified according to EN 13537:
- T-comfort: -1 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: -8 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep through the night without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -25 deg. C - the lowest temperature at which it is possible to survive in the sleeping bag. This is not a value recommended for standard use.
Polyester 210T Rip-Stop, polyamide lining
The exterior utilizes 210T Rip-Stop polyester, offering exceptional resistance to abrasions and mechanical damage while minimizing the chance of additional tears. The interior is lined with 190T polyamide. The bottom of the sleeping bag features a bowl-shaped design, conforming more closely to the natural position of the feet. This structure eliminates excess space and enhances heat retention around the foot area. Inside, a small pocket is available for accessories, along with loops designed for securing an additional warming liner.
MICROFill Super-Therm insulation
Inside, the sleeping bag features advanced synthetic insulation, MICROFill Super-Therm, recognized for its remarkable lightness and softness. Its unique microfibre structure ensures superior elasticity and outstanding thermal insulation. The fibers maintain their performance even after repeated washing.
Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
A two-way zipper positioned on the left side enables the sleeping bag to be fully opened from either the top or bottom, ensuring convenient access. A fluorescent puller makes it easy to operate the zipper in low-light conditions. With the Anti-Bite system, the zipper glides smoothly without snagging the fabric. An internal thermal strip offers additional protection along the length of the zipper. Compatibility with other sleeping bags from the same series allows for pairing together.
Integrated cold-protection hood, DUO drawcord
Integrated 3D hood enhances thermal insulation by enveloping the head, effectively minimizing heat loss in cold environments. Its ergonomic contour delivers added defense against wind and moisture. The Duo drawcord merges both elastic and strap components. Elastic positioned around the neck allows for effortless hand extension without requiring manual adjustment.
