I bought it for my daughter for a camp under tents; she wanted not to freeze like in her previous/old one. In this regard, Fjord did great—maybe even too great—but that’s no problem, as it’s easier and more comfortable to unzip the sleeping bag than to sleep in two sweatshirts. Very good workmanship. Once packed, it takes up a lot of space, so it’s not suitable for hiking camps, but for stationary use, it’s excellent.

210T Rip-Stop polyester, polycotton lining
The outer layer made of 210T Rip-Stop polyester offers protection against abrasion and mechanical damage while minimizing the risk of further tearing. The inner lining made of PoliCotton combines the softness of cotton with the durability of polyester, ensuring skin comfort and breathability. The lower part is foot-shaped for a better anatomical fit, minimizing excess space and improving heat retention around the feet. Inside, there is a small pocket for personal items and loops for attaching an additional thermal liner.
Eko Loft Hollowfiber filling
Warmth is provided by synthetic Eko Loft Hollowfiber insulation made of spirally twisted, siliconized polyester fibers. The quilting of the outer fabric keeps the insulation in place for even distribution. It retains thermal performance even when wet, washed, or heavily used. The filling is non-allergenic, suitable for people allergic to down.
Right-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag features a two-way zipper on the right side, allowing full opening from the top or bottom and quick access. The Anti-Bite system prevents fabric from jamming in the zipper. A thermal baffle is added inside for extra protection. This model can be joined with another sleeping bag from the same series.
Integrated hood with DUO drawcord
The integrated 3D hood enhances thermal insulation by wrapping the head and preventing heat loss in cold conditions. Its shape also shields against wind and moisture. At near zero temperatures in the mountains, sleeping in a tent (also Fjord tent:), I had to unzip my sleeping bag several times at night because it was very warm. For expeditions in such mild winter, it’s just right. I recommend this sleeping bag as well as other Fiord Nansen products.
