Fjord Nansen Kjolen XL Carnelian 1400 g Sleeping Bag - Right
Durable mummy-style sleeping bag in Carnelian color, designed to provide comfortable body positioning and freedom of movement during sleep. Made of high-quality Rip-Stop polyester, it features a durable outer shell and MICROFill Super-Therm insulation.
Temperatures and usage conditions
The Kjolen sleeping bag temperature ratings according to EN 13537:
- T-comfort: 3 C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: -2 C – the lowest temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -16 C – the lowest temperature at which survival is possible. Not recommended for regular use.
210T Rip-Stop polyester, polyamide lining
The outer layer is made of 210T Rip-Stop polyester, effectively protecting against abrasion and mechanical damage while minimizing the risk of tearing. The inner lining is made of 190T polyamide. The bottom of the sleeping bag is shaped to match the natural position of the feet, reducing empty space and improving heat retention in the leg area. Inside there is a small pocket for essentials and loops for attaching an additional insulating liner.
MICROfill Super-Therm filling
The inside is filled with MICROfill Super-Therm synthetic insulation, known for its lightness and softness. The microfibre structure ensures high loft and excellent thermal insulation. The fibres maintain their properties even after many washes.
Right-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag features a two-way zipper on the right side, allowing it to be fully opened from the top or bottom for easier access. A fluorescent puller allows operation in the dark. The Anti-Bite system prevents the fabric from catching in the zipper. A thermal baffle protects the zipper from the inside. The model can be joined with another sleeping bag from the same series.
Integrated hood with DUO drawcord
The built-in 3D hood improves thermal protection by wrapping the head and reducing heat loss in cold conditions. Its shape also offers extra wind and moisture protection. The Duo drawcord combines elastic and webbing. The elastic around the neck allows you to pull your arm out without adjusting, while the webbing at the back lets you loosen it in specific places, useful during nighttime activities.
Easy to carry and store
Convenient for transport and storage. When packed, the sleeping bag measures 39 x 20 cm and weighs just 1400 g, making it easy to carry without adding excessive weight to your gear.
