Temperatures and usage conditions
Trondeland sleeping bag temperature ratings according to EN 13537 standard:
- T-max: 14 deg. C – highest temperature at which sleeping in the bag is possible without overheating,
- T-comfort: -3 deg. C – lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably through the night,
- T-limit: -9 deg. C – minimum temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -29 deg. C – lowest temperature survivable in the sleeping bag. Not recommended for regular use.
210T Rip-Stop polyester, polyamide lining
The outer layer is made of 210T Rip-Stop polyester, which effectively protects against abrasions and mechanical damage, reducing the risk of further tearing. The inner lining is made of 190T polyamide. A footbox shaped like a basin better fits the natural position of the feet. This design reduces excess space and improves heat retention in the leg area. Inside, there's a small pocket for accessories and loops for attaching an additional insulating liner.
MICROfill Super-Therm insulation
The inside of the sleeping bag is filled with MICROfill Super-Therm synthetic insulation, known for its lightness and softness. The microfiber structure provides high loft and excellent thermal insulation. The fibers retain their properties even after multiple washes.
Left-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag features a two-way zipper on the left side, allowing it to be opened from the top or bottom for easier entry and exit. A fluorescent puller enables unzipping even in the dark. The Anti-Bite system prevents the fabric from catching in the zipper. A thermal baffle is sewn inside to protect the zipper.
Integrated hood, DUO drawcord, thermal collar
The integrated 3D hood enhances thermal protection by covering the head and preventing heat loss in cold conditions. Its shape also shields against wind and moisture. The DUO drawcord combines elastic and webbing. The elastic around the neck allows hand movement without adjustment, while the rear strap enables quick loosening—ideal for nighttime use. The internal thermal collar, a down-filled tube with a drawcord at shoulder level, effectively blocks cold air from entering, enhancing warmth during sleep.
Convenient transport and storage
This model is easy to transport and store. When packed, the sleeping bag measures 38 x 24 cm and weighs 2200 g, making it easy to carry without overloading your gear.
The set includes
The sleeping bag comes with a practical compression sack with a snap buckle to protect it during transport and keep it clean and safe.

Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.
Anti-Bite is a system that prevents material from getting jammed in the zipper, used in outdoor clothing and equipment. It prevents the fabric from blocking the zipper, which increases the durability of the product and improves the comfort of use, especially in outdoor conditions.
Microfill Super-Therm is an advanced insulation technology used in products such as thermal clothing and sleeping bags. The fiber structure effectively retains heat, ensuring thermal comfort even at low temperatures. The high elasticity and lightness of the material translate into ease of compression and transportation, while maintaining excellent insulating properties.
DUO drawstring in Fjord Nansen sleeping bags is a two-zone adjustment system, which allows you to adjust the hood independently with an elastic band in front and a tape with a lock in the back. This solution makes it easy to quickly adjust the sleeping bag to your body position and personal preferences, without having to leave the interior.

Tested at -22°C. It was warm, but I also had a liner inside and was dressed. It stands out a lot, sometimes too much, so I recommend wrapping the cover with some camouflage tape or dark material. The product is worth its price and can be impregnated.

The sleeping bag is great. Haven't tested it yet at below zero. Around 0°C it's hot :)
-
Ok, finally tested; overnight in a hammock at -3C, without a jacket, with three pairs of socks - I didn't freeze :)

Tested in a tent, very warm. So far, autumn has not allowed me to test it at below zero temperatures, but when it was +5°C at night, I was a bit too warm and fell asleep with the sleeping bag slightly unzipped. Overall, as a winter sleeping bag—yes, I recommend it.
