Sometimes it's good to shoot a patch through the barrel to clean it. They collect dirt well and don’t leave pieces behind in the barrel, which would make it even dirtier.

Good thing for cleaning the barrel after shooting. I put 3-4 pieces on the surface and spray them with Ballistol to soak them completely, then I shoot through with a pellet. Then 3-4 pieces dry. The downside is that the 4.5mm are a bit too loose, so next time I'll try 5.5mm.
