The Olive Green zip-up fleece jacket delivers thermal insulation in low temperatures while efficiently releasing excess warmth and moisture during intense movement. Constructed from premium fleece boasting a weight of 380 g/m2, the Helikon-Tex Patriot offers a generous cut that accommodates layering over lighter sweatshirts and additional insulating garments. Designed with a slightly elongated back section, the jacket shields the kidneys from cold winds, yet maintains a length that grants easy access to pockets and any gear attached to a trouser belt.

Breathable fleece

Constructed from 100% quick-drying polyester with a density of 380 g/m2, the fleece delivers exceptional insulation and breathability. Superior moisture management ensures efficient evaporation, reducing the risk of the body cooling down. Engineered for durability and damage resistance, the jacket excels in demanding outdoor environments, whether navigating rugged trails or engaging in tactical operations. Reinforced fabric at the elbows significantly enhances abrasion resistance and ensures extended longevity.

Adjustable hood

Cold and wind protection is ensured by a spacious, fully enclosed hood. Generous dimensions accommodate a winter hat without hindering movement. A soft brim prevents water from dripping onto the face. Integrated into the collar, the hood keeps the neck well-covered when in use. Elastic drawcords allow for personalized adjustment to fit individual preferences.

Roomy pockets

Featuring six generously sized and ergonomically arranged pockets, the jacket delivers outstanding utility:

  • two chest pockets
  • two shoulder-level sleeve pockets
  • one pocket positioned on the left forearm
  • a pass-through pocket located on the rear, just above the hips

Every pocket is secured with rugged, dependable YKK zippers. Zippers are equipped with fabric pull tabs, allowing smooth operation even when wearing thick gloves. Dedicated compartments inside the chest pockets provide space for a phone, along with cable ports—for instance, to accommodate headphone wires.

Velcro panels, adjustable cuffs and elastic waistband

Velcro panels positioned on the shoulders provide a secure place for attaching patches, identifiers, unit insignia, or Morale Patches. The sleeves are equipped with hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs for precise regulation of circumference. An elastic drawcord at the waist effectively blocks cold air from entering underneath and aids in maintaining body warmth.

    This is probably my best purchase ever. Excellent fleece. Warm and comfortable. The number of pockets and their placement are just right. The zippers are sturdy and work well. Big hood with a brim. I usually wear it as an outer layer, but sometimes I put it under a jacket. If anyone is considering buying it, I 100% recommend it, you won't be disappointed.

    The recent frosts prompted me to buy this piece of clothing. It is spacious enough to wear sweatshirts, sweaters, or other fleeces underneath, but it is more difficult to put a jacket over this fleece, so I mostly use it as an outer layer. The underarm pockets are cool, although overall there are a bit too many pockets for my taste, and I still don't know what the pass-through pocket on the back is for; sometimes I put a scarf or gloves in there. The fleece is warm and comfortable, has a good hood, and a great color. I recommend it.

    I have the MK2 version of this fleece, which I really like, but I've always been interested in how its first edition looked. This version is slightly thicker than the MK2, so it provides a bit more warmth. In my opinion, it will work better when walking with a backpack equipped with a hip belt, because the pockets are conveniently placed and easy to reach. I also prefer the adjustable cuffs featured in this release. When it comes to sizes, I have the MK2 in 3XL, while this model is 2XL, and both fit great. I definitely recommend it – I'm taking it with me on a camping trip next week and can't wait to use it.

    I wore this fleece for the first time in October and immediately knew it would be my favorite fleece for cooler days. The fleece is comfortable, lightweight, and really warms you up, much better than I expected. There are literally pockets everywhere. The sizing is correct. Good quality, good materials, good price.
