Helikon-Tex Patriot Fleece - Coyote

A zip-up fleece jacket in Coyote designed to deliver thermal insulation in low temperatures, while efficiently venting excess heat and moisture produced during activity. The Helikon-Tex Patriot is crafted from premium fleece with a weight of 380 g/m2. Its generous cut allows it to be layered over a lighter sweatshirt and other insulating garments. The slightly elongated back panel offers added wind protection for the kidneys, yet the overall jacket length remains short for easy access to trouser belt pockets and carried gear.

Breathable fleece

Constructed from 100% quick-drying polyester with a density of 380 g/m2, the fleece delivers excellent insulation and breathability, efficiently wicking away moisture to prevent heat loss. The robust fabric stands up to demanding conditions and resists damage, making the jacket ideal for challenging outdoor environments, from hiking to tactical operations. Additional reinforcement on the elbows enhances abrasion resistance for increased durability.

Adjustable hood

A roomy, fully enclosed hood delivers protection from cold and wind. Generous sizing accommodates a winter hat without hindering movement. The hood incorporates a soft brim that helps prevent water from dripping directly onto the face. Integration with the collar ensures the neck stays shielded during wear. Elastic drawcords offer easy adjustment, enabling a customized fit.

Roomy pockets

The jacket features six generously sized and strategically placed pockets:

  • two pockets on the chest
  • two shoulder-height sleeve pockets
  • a pocket located on the left forearm
  • one pass-through pocket at the back above the hips

Each pocket is fitted with robust and dependable YKK zippers. The zippers come equipped with fabric pull tabs, enabling easy operation even when wearing thick gloves. The interior of the chest pockets includes a dedicated compartment for a phone and cable ports, such as those for headphones.

Velcro panels, adjustable cuffs and elastic waistband

Hook-and-loop panels located on the shoulders provide convenient attachment points for patches, unit insignias, identifiers, or beloved Morale Patches. Sleeves are equipped with hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs, allowing for easy adjustment of their fit. An elastic drawcord at the waist effectively blocks cold air from entering from below and aids in maintaining body heat.

    This is probably my best purchase ever. Excellent fleece. Warm and comfortable. The number of pockets and their placement are just right. The zippers are sturdy and work well. Big hood with a brim. I usually wear it as an outer layer, but sometimes I put it under a jacket. If anyone is considering buying it, I 100% recommend it, you won't be disappointed.
