Helikon-Tex Patriot Fleece - Black

A Black zip-up fleece jacket designed to deliver thermal insulation in cold conditions, while efficiently venting excess heat and moisture produced during intense activity. The Helikon-Tex Patriot utilizes premium fleece with a density of 380 g/m2. Owing to its spacious cut, it accommodates a thinner sweatshirt and extra insulating layers underneath. The back panel features a slight extension to shield the kidneys from wind exposure, yet the jacket remains short enough to ensure quick access to pockets and gear worn on the belt.

Breathable fleece

Constructed from 100% quick-drying polyester weighing 380 g/m2, the fleece delivers exceptional insulation and breathability. Excess moisture is efficiently wicked away, reducing the risk of body heat loss. The fabric’s robustness and resistance to damage make the jacket ideal for demanding outdoor environments, whether navigating rugged trails or conducting tactical operations. Additional reinforcement on the elbows enhances durability and abrasion resistance.

Adjustable hood

Excellent cold and wind protection is ensured by a spacious, fully enclosed hood. The generous sizing accommodates a winter hat beneath without limiting head movement. A soft brim is included to prevent water from dripping directly onto the face. The design integrates the hood into the collar in such a way that the neck remains shielded when worn. Elastic drawcords allow the hood to be precisely adjusted for optimal fit.

Roomy pockets

Engineered with six generously sized and strategically placed pockets, the jacket offers optimal storage options:

  • two chest compartments
  • two upper arm pockets located at shoulder level
  • one pocket positioned on the left forearm
  • a pass-through pocket located at the back, just above the hips

Each pocket is fitted with robust and dependable YKK zippers. Fabric pull tabs are attached to the zippers, allowing for smooth operation even when wearing thick gloves. The chest pockets include an internal compartment designed for a phone, along with cable ports to accommodate accessories such as headphones.

Velcro panels, adjustable cuffs and elastic waistband

Velcro panels positioned on the shoulders enable the attachment of patches, identifiers, unit insignia, or Morale Patches. The sleeves are equipped with hook-and-loop adjustable cuffs, allowing easy adjustment of the fit. A elastic drawcord at the waist secures warmth and prevents cold air from entering from below.
