A great addition to the wardrobe – it's lightweight and, when folded, fits into a small bag (I'm using a 2L compression bag). At the same time, it provides good protection against wind and cold, and even protects against moderate rain. Works well for everyday use.
A lightweight softshell jacket crafted from flexible, state-of-the-art StormStretch fabric, delivering excellent breathability and durability. The exterior is coated with teflon for effective protection against dirt and light precipitation.
Designed with four functional pockets for optimal practicality:
- two zippered chest pockets equipped with internal organizers,
- plus two pockets on the shoulders.
An elongated cut, along with adjustable hood, cuffs, and hem, allows the Blizzard jacket to accommodate any body type, providing reliable defense against harsh weather. The hood conveniently stows away inside the collar.
Both shoulders feature sewn-on panels with velcro (hook and loop), allowing for the attachment of patches or emblems, such as a national flag, unit badge, or Morale Patches, offering a customizable, personal touch to the jacket.
Sleeves are reinforced with durable material from wrist to elbow, and the usual elastic cuffs are replaced by a tab secured with velcro (hook and loop) fastener, permitting size adjustment for varying wrist sizes, gloves, or a watch.
Zippers are manufactured by the renowned Japanese brand YKK.

The jacket looks nice and has a hood with a visor. It works well during cooler, but not very frosty days or when you ride a bike at temperatures between 10 and 15 degrees. The chest pockets and separate underarm vents, which improve ventilation, are a plus. In summary, it's a good choice for transitional periods as a windbreaker.

Great quality. Tested the Pencott wildwood version. Unfortunately, NIR MWIR colors were not used here. This makes the jacket appear as a bright white glow in night vision at night.
-
Super fitted, stretchy, very comfortable. Looks fantastic with Treadstone blue jeans... Highly recommend... bought in the Winter Sale for half price... ;-)

It looks excellent and its workmanship is of a high standard, as with all Helikon products I have purchased so far. However, the size turned out to be different than in the Woodsman Anorak model – this jacket is larger. That's my mistake, because I was looking for something more waterproof, and this jacket is rather lightweight.
-
The jacket does the job, it's super light and comfortable. If I had to complain, it would be about the collar with the packed hood – it puts a bit of pressure on the neck when fully zipped up, but overall, it's definitely a big plus.

Very comfortable and warm softshell jacket. The material is pleasant to wear, the zipper moves smoothly. Nicely finished. Plus, nice colors and an attractive price. An additional advantage is that it's made by a Polish manufacturer, supporting the Polish economy.

I have three colors and I'll probably have more because for me it's amazing. It fits well and keeps the temperature as it should. I recommend it and you can create a nice set, both for trips and for everyday use. 😀

Nice product and I already have it in 3 colors, but I see that I prefer a size larger than I normally take in this jacket, because I use it more as an extra layer. The fleece is 2XL, but the jacket is better in 3XL because it’s not tight and has a bit of room. This is a better solution if I want to put something else under the fleece, and I can also fit it under the jacket 😀 because then I don’t look strangely stuffed like an overfilled plush toy 😀 I still recommend the product because it’s good, serves its purpose, and is lightweight.

Here I have to say that it is well-made, and I’ll say this: if you’re planning to wear it over something else, I recommend choosing a size larger than you normally wear. Though I picked the largest size and it’s just how I like it—slightly loose, not tight-fitting. I wore it over a long-sleeve undershirt and it worked well for me at temperatures above 0°C—this was before the snowfall in Krakow 😄—so it was enough, though I was active at the time. Probably if I’d been standing around for a while, it could be different. The stowable hood with adjustment is sufficient for me. The sleeve pockets are adequate—they have zippers and Velcro for morale patches, so that’s a cool feature, too. The big chest pockets with double zippers have inner pockets. It makes a nice set together with the pants 😄. Height: 185 cm, chest: 136/138 cm (always quite big here), weight: about 118 kg (going down thanks to cutting), so it fits a 'dragon' like me 😄. The Helikon Patriot fleece fits comfortably in XXL size. I recommend it because it’s a comfortable option for wearing in layers and to keep out the wind 😄

Very nice jacket, even an elegant cut, very well-fitted hood with a brim. For cool (but not cold) days, or for example for biking at around 10–15 degrees (depending on individual preferences and what you’re wearing underneath). It's good that chest pockets serve as ventilation too (there are separate vents under the armpits). The only downside is that when the hood is hidden in the collar, it gets too tight around the neck.
-
Great jacket, exactly what I was looking for: comfortable, light, fitted, lots of nice pockets, soft yet strong material, offers good wind protection. I highly recommend it.
-
Warm, solid jacket. Very comfortable, nicely fitting to the body and at the same time elegant. Very practical, especially for people working in services and valuing comfort, thermal comfort, and anonymity.

Perfect jacket as an outer layer over the Liberty fleece from Helikon. It's very thin, but protects well from wind and light rain. Plenty of pockets. The only minus for me is that the hood can't be detached, it’s always in the collar and bulges it a bit.
