Nice EDC pouch for very reasonable money, and it’s always Helikon, which guarantees quality and thoughtful craftsmanship. The pouch has a lot of compartments; it can fit practically everything you need. So far, I’ve managed to fit in it a multitool, a pocket knife, tweezers, pliers, a flashlight, a notebook, a pen, paracord, a handy needle and thread set, an emergency blanket, a piece of string, a firestarter and a lighter. The rest of the handy stuff is to be added. There’s still plenty of space. The pouch has velcro, so it fits perfectly for mounting in one of the compartments of the 8L Helikon bag. I recommend it.

The pocket design is carefully thought out so that every EDC item has its own logical and fixed place—from knives, flashlights, multitools, to small accessories such as energy bars or medical supplies. The interior is equipped with practical compartments, a mesh pocket with a zipper, and elastic loops that stabilize the contents and allow quick access to each item. One of my favorite aspects is its compatibility with the Versatile Insert System—a panel with Velcro allows you to easily attach the pocket in a backpack, bag, or Helikon-Tex waist pack, but you can also use it on its own whenever you need to carry your things in a specific place without transferring each item separately. In summary, this is a pocket I can sincerely recommend to anyone looking for a durable, well-designed, and versatile EDC organizer—regardless of whether it’s for urban use, the outdoors, travel, or more tactical applications.

A very well-made pocket, but it misses some kind of external attachment point – hence I subtract one star. You can use the velcro to connect it to other Helikon products, but due to the lack of MOLLE straps, it’s not a universal pocket. Still, it works great as a standalone pouch for gear.

The coolest insert from the EDC Insert system. The compartments are well arranged, the mesh pocket is spacious and has a good-quality zipper. Plus, after detaching it from the backpack, you can use the sewn-on flaps to cover the velcro and use the whole pouch as, for example, an organizer. For me, this is a great option because I don't have to repack all the little items in this pouch into a separate organizer to throw into my bike bag. I just detach the velcro, close the flaps, and throw it into the bag.

I hesitated before buying, worried it might be too large. It's a tight fit size-wise. I bought it for the Helikon Guardian smallpack backpack. I attached it at the highest point. The pocket, as is typical for Helikon, is well designed and made. The compartments vary in size. If they were all the same, some items wouldn’t fit and others would be too loose. The mesh pocket is very useful. Attached to the panel on the back of the main compartment of the backpack, it doesn't interfere with putting things in or taking them out, because its depth is slight.
