Camouflage Desert Night Camo

Desert Night Camo (DNC) refers to a highly specialized camo pattern crafted by the US Army during the 1980s specifically for conducting night missions in desert environments. Intended as an overlay for existing uniforms, this pattern saw primary deployment in Operation Desert Storm within the Persian Gulf region. Characterized by its unique grid layout, the design features dark green squares and crosses set against an olive-green base. The primary objective centered on disrupting the detection capabilities of early enemy night vision technology. While the pattern delivered moderate success in obscuring images on night vision devices, the concept represented a groundbreaking solution in the evolution of night operation camouflage.

A handy pouch with versatile use. As expected from Helikon-Tex products, it is durable, well-made, and has an attractive price, and additionally supports the European economy. I use it as an extra pocket attached to my backpack (using a 3D printed quick-release clip), but I can also use it as an independent shoulder bag when needed. In both uses, it works excellently and meets the requirements of basic EDC.

A thoroughly thought-out and designed piece of bushcraft equipment. While the bag is intended for carrying a canteen with a cup and basic gear, it can hold many other things as well. The materials and workmanship are high quality. I recommend the product and the Militaria.pl store.

A small bag with great possibilities! A perfect addition to a backpack for camping or hiking to the summit—you can just take the bag with the most necessary gear. Ideal pocket for Jetboil Flash; it fits the stove and extras like coffee or tea. Top-quality workmanship!

The size of the bag forces the user to carefully select only the most essential equipment—the very essence of your gear. In mine, I have: - a 550ml bottle from Helikon with water - a spork - a mini hammock (without a pouch, but with carabiners) - NRC foil - plasma lighter - Oclip flashlight - Victorinox pocket knife - folding knife - toilet paper - a tiny bottle of hand sanitizer - insect and tick spray - sewing kit - firestarter - survival card in a case, which also holds a bus ticket and a banknote. This is all-year-round equipment (except for the insect spray) intended to help you survive 24 hours in the forest or handle several emergency situations (like a torn garment, the need to take a bus or taxi, or if you have to get supplies or medical products). The bag is well made. You can carry it in several ways. I like to wear it over my shoulder or on my belt. Contrary to appearances, it's quite roomy, though I wouldn’t recommend stuffing it with just anything. You have to carefully consider what should go inside. The numerous compartments help keep it organized. I'm only wondering how the bag will deal with rain and whether the contents, especially those in the side pockets, will be safe—I will definitely check that in the future. I recommend the bag. It looks good and is pleasant to carry. Even when full of gear, it's very light. You hardly feel like you're carrying anything. I definitely prefer walks with it over a backpack. And those earthy colors—they’re great. Even earth brown/clay doesn’t compare, though it’s a matter of taste. Either way, this color scheme appeals to me more.

Very good bag. I got it as a Christmas gift and it works perfectly for any surface—of course, not for winter, but the winter of 2023/2024 is much greener anyway.

Nice, spacious, and durable, with a strong strap. Bought as an extra pocket for a backpack, with a spot to attach a hatchet. After filling it with gear, it turned out to be so good that I'm thinking about buying a second one, just so I don't have to keep detaching the first one from my backpack. I recommend it.

Nice bag, although I use it as a pouch attached to my backpack. It fits a Jetboil Trek Zip camping stove.

Very useful both as a bag and as an organizer in a backpack. I recommend it.

Great bag for trips. It can fit a 1 liter Nalgene bottle or an Esbit 0.7 LTR thermos, or a medium-sized Landscout 8x40 binoculars, plus extra pockets for small items. You can attach a knife or something hard to the back. The bag can be attached to a backpack, belt, or carried on your shoulder. Overall, a very well-made bag! Multicam matches everything.

Great bag, I have the nylon version in the "melange grey" color, I rate it 9/10. I recommend it to anyone who wants a small but quite roomy bag.
