Helikon-Tex Guardian Recce Chest Rig Tactical Vest - Coyote

Chest Rig tactical vest constructed from highly durable Cordura fabric with a weight of 235 g/m2. Outfitted with a Versatile Insert attachment system, MOLLE/PALS webbing, and robust Woojin Plastic buckles, this model is ideal for both professionals and outdoor adventurers. Multiple pockets and pouches provide secure storage for essential gear, supporting efficient organization during any outdoor pursuit.

Numerous pockets and pouches to transport your chosen accouterment

Located on the front of the vest are:

  • Four pouches designed for standard AK/AR magazines—secured with flaps featuring buckles. These flaps can be folded away, converting the pouches into open-topped ones for swift magazine access.
  • Administrative pocket—secured with zippers, allowing for wide opening. Outfitted with a front zippered compartment and a rectangular Velcro panel. The interior is finished with soft Velcro lining.
  • Two versatile pouches—closed using a flap with a buckle. Capable of holding fragmentation or smoke grenades, or, when fitted with the Competition Series insert, up to two pistol magazines.
  • A large zippered pocket is also included.

Closely situated to the body are two central flat pockets, ideal for stowing a radio, along with two side pockets. All pockets feature elastic loops to keep items securely in place.

Versatile Insert system and MOLLE/PALS system webbing

Webbing on both the sides and shoulders of the vest is compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system, enabling the attachment of additional pockets or pouches for modular expansion. The front pocket features a lining made from soft Velcro, facilitating personalization with inserts from the VIS (Versatile Insert System). With compatibility spanning a wide selection of products, the system allows quick and convenient transfer of your gear between various types of equipment.

Adjustable straps, breathable mesh panel and grommets on shoulders

Adjustable straps ensure the vest conforms to the user's body shape. A mesh panel on the back enhances air circulation, delivering excellent comfort throughout wear. Special grommets located on the shoulders enable secure attachment of cabling, antennas, or a hydration system tube.

    The unloading is very well thought out, functional, and versatile. Helikon products are traditionally characterized by high quality at a reasonable price, and the design is very well crafted. The Cordura looks very durable and resistant to wear, and the mesh on the back is also solid. In one of the pockets, there's a pouch with elastic bands for magazines, allowing you to carry them open. The bands are attached to a strap hidden by Velcro inside the pocket. Thank you to the military stores for the discount and fast shipping. If you order by Thursday, the package can arrive in Ukraine as early as Monday.

    After several hours of use, it's working great so far. I had some trouble with the straps on the back; after adjusting to my needs, there was still a lot of excess, so I had to trim them. Swapping the flaps for elastic bands also took a bit of fiddling before I figured out how to do it right. Anyway, it's very comfortable to use.

    It's too early to judge durability, but the functionality and quality of workmanship make a very good impression. In wz. 93 camouflage it matches the MON uniform well. :-) Another plus is the ability to change the way the pouches are closed.
