The Chest Rig tactical vest is constructed from damage-resistant Cordura fabric with a weight of 235 g/m2. Outfitted with the Versatile Insert attachment system, integrated MOLLE/PALS webbing, and robust Woojin Plastic buckles, this vest offers versatile carry and secure fitting. Numerous pockets and pouches to transport your chosen accouterment

Located on the front of the vest are:

  • Four pouches designed for standard AK/AR magazines — secured with flap closures featuring buckles. The flaps can be stowed away, converting the pouches into open-top versions for quicker magazine access.
  • Administrative pocket — equipped with zipper closure, allowing for a wide opening. Features a front zippered compartment and a rectangular Velcro panel. The interior is lined with soft Velcro for versatile attachment options.
  • Two multipurpose pouches — secured with flap and buckle closures. These are suitable for carrying fragmentation or smoke grenades, or, when fitted with the Competition Series insert, can hold two pistol magazines.
  • A spacious pocket closed with a zipper.

On the inner side, centrally positioned two flat pockets are ideal for storing a radio, while two side pockets are also present. Each pocket is fitted with elastic loops to securely hold carried gear.

Versatile Insert system and MOLLE/PALS system webbing

Webbing on both the sides and shoulders of the vest is MOLLE/PALS system compatible, enabling the attachment of extra pouches or pockets for enhanced modularity. The pocket located on the front features an interior lined with soft Velcro, allowing for customization using inserts from the VIS (Versatile Insert System). This system ensures compatibility with a broad assortment of products, making the transfer of your equipment between various gear components quick and easy.

Adjustable straps, breathable mesh panel and grommets on shoulders

Adjustable straps enable a customized fit to the wearer’s body. A mesh panel located on the back provides excellent air circulation and ensures a high level of comfort during wear. Special grommets on the shoulders are designed for secure attachment of cabling, an antenna, or a hydration system tube.

    The unloading is very well thought out, functional, and versatile. Helikon products are traditionally characterized by high quality at a reasonable price, and the design is very well crafted. The Cordura looks very durable and resistant to wear, and the mesh on the back is also solid. In one of the pockets, there's a pouch with elastic bands for magazines, allowing you to carry them open. The bands are attached to a strap hidden by Velcro inside the pocket. Thank you to the military stores for the discount and fast shipping. If you order by Thursday, the package can arrive in Ukraine as early as Monday.

    After several hours of use, it's working great so far. I had some trouble with the straps on the back; after adjusting to my needs, there was still a lot of excess, so I had to trim them. Swapping the flaps for elastic bands also took a bit of fiddling before I figured out how to do it right. Anyway, it's very comfortable to use.

    It's too early to judge durability, but the functionality and quality of workmanship make a very good impression. In wz. 93 camouflage it matches the MON uniform well. :-) Another plus is the ability to change the way the pouches are closed.
