Chest Rig tactical vest crafted from highly durable Cordura fabric with a weight of 235 g/m2. Outfitted with the Versatile Insert attachment platform, MOLLE/PALS webbing, and robust Woojin Plastic buckles. Multiple pockets and pouches offer storage for essential gear, making this model ideal for professionals as well as outdoor enthusiasts who require reliable equipment organization during field activities.

Numerous pockets and pouches to transport your chosen accouterment

Located on the front of the vest are:

  • Four pouches for standard AK/AR magazines, secured by flaps with buckles. The flaps can be folded away to convert the pouches into open-top style, allowing rapid access to your gear.
  • Administrative pocket secured with a zipper and featuring a design for wide opening. Outfitted with a front zippered compartment and a rectangular Velcro panel, the interior is finished with soft Velcro lining.
  • Two multipurpose pockets closed by a flap and buckle, capable of holding fragmentation or smoke grenades, or, with the addition of the Competition Series insert, two pistol magazines.
  • A wide pocket secured with a zipper.

In the section closer to the wearer’s body are two central flat pockets, ideal for carrying a radio, as well as two side pockets. All pockets come equipped with elastic loops to keep contents stable and secure during movement.

Versatile Insert system and MOLLE/PALS system webbing

Webbing on both the shoulders and sides of the vest is fully MOLLE/PALS system compatible, enabling customization with extra pouches or pockets. The front pocket’s interior features a soft Velcro lining, offering the possibility of individual personalization using inserts from the VIS (Versatile Insert System). Broad compatibility with a variety of products ensures seamless transfer of your equipment between different platforms.

Adjustable straps, breathable mesh panel and grommets on shoulders

Adjustable straps ensure the vest conforms to the wearer’s body shape. A mesh panel integrated into the back enhances airflow, delivering superior comfort throughout wear. Special grommets located on the shoulders provide secure attachment points for cabling, antennas, or a hydration system tube.

    The unloading is very well thought out, functional, and versatile. Helikon products are traditionally characterized by high quality at a reasonable price, and the design is very well crafted. The Cordura looks very durable and resistant to wear, and the mesh on the back is also solid. In one of the pockets, there's a pouch with elastic bands for magazines, allowing you to carry them open. The bands are attached to a strap hidden by Velcro inside the pocket. Thank you to the military stores for the discount and fast shipping. If you order by Thursday, the package can arrive in Ukraine as early as Monday.

    After several hours of use, it's working great so far. I had some trouble with the straps on the back; after adjusting to my needs, there was still a lot of excess, so I had to trim them. Swapping the flaps for elastic bands also took a bit of fiddling before I figured out how to do it right. Anyway, it's very comfortable to use.

    It's too early to judge durability, but the functionality and quality of workmanship make a very good impression. In wz. 93 camouflage it matches the MON uniform well. :-) Another plus is the ability to change the way the pouches are closed.
