A chemical glow stick, weighing next to nothing. You can just throw it into your backpack or pocket and it's perfect for a trip. You never know when something like this might come in handy, and it's no burden at all. On the other hand, I didn't notice during purchase that it's the IR version.

It glows quite long, but you have to 'break' it surprisingly hard.
