No external power or complicated procedures are needed—simply bend the stick to break the inner glass capsule containing one of the chemical agents, then shake forcefully to mix the components and trigger the reaction, resulting in visible light output.
Inside the tube, a glass vial holds a chemical substance that, once broken, initiates a reaction for 6 to 7 hours of continuous light emission. The primary benefit of chemical lighting is its ability to provide 360-degree illumination. These sticks are designed to be non-toxic and non-flammable.
