Helikon-Tex MBDU NyCo Rip-Stop Sweatshirt - MultiCam

Combat shirt in MM14 camouflage, tailored in line with the MBDU (Modern Battle Dress Uniform) cut. Crafted from durable, tear-resistant NyCo fabric and further strengthened with a Rip-Stop weave. An anatomically designed silhouette and side panels made of stretchable VeraStretch material provide superior comfort and unrestricted range of motion.

Constructed from rugged NyCo fabric, the shirt blends the durability of nylon (52%) with the natural breathability and softness of cotton (48%). The material incorporates a robust Rip-Stop weave, effectively minimizing the risk of tears and enhancing resistance to mechanical damage.

Side panels made from VeraStretch material deliver superior elasticity, boosting freedom of movement and overall comfort, particularly during high-intensity activity.

The design incorporates four pockets in total:

• two zippered chest pockets
• two sleeve pockets positioned at shoulder level, each featuring an internal loop

Secured with buttons, the sweatshirt features a collar that can be turned up and fastened using Velcro. Velcro on the cuffs enables easy adjustment for a snug fit around the wrists or over gloves.

Velcro panels are situated above the pockets and on the shoulders, enabling the attachment of various patches or insignia, such as a national flag, unit badge, or morale patch. To enhance ventilation, mesh panels have been integrated under the arms to boost breathability.

MultiCam is a state-of-the-art camouflage pattern developed in 2002 by US company Crye Precision in cooperation with the United States Army Soldier Systems Center (Natick Labs) as part of the Objective Force Warrior program. Its goal was to create a versatile camouflage pattern that is effective in varied terrain and changing environmental conditions. The MultiCam pattern consists of seven colors, creating gradient transitions between shades of green, brown and beige. As a result, it dynamically adapts to the background, adopting shades of green in forested areas or browns and beiges in desert regions - in Central and Eastern European environments, it works particularly well in autumn and among dry vegetation. MultiCam has gained worldwide recognition and is used by numerous armed forces and special units. In 2010, the camouflage was officially adopted by the US Army as the camouflage pattern for soldiers stationed in Afghanistan, replacing the earlier Universal Camouflage Pattern (UCP). The pattern is also available to civilian users, making it a popular choice among military or airsoft enthusiasts.
