Helikon-Tex MBDU NyCo Rip-Stop Uniform Trousers - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland

Durable MBDU (Modern Battle Dress Uniform) combat trousers in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage intended for intensive tactical operations, patrol duties, and missions in demanding terrain. They are made from abrasion-resistant NyCo Rip-Stop fabric with a grammage of 235 g/m2 and NIR/IRR technology that reduces visibility under night vision, as well as flexible VersaStretch panels that support mobility. The model is equipped with 8 functional pockets adapted for carrying magazines and accouterment, contoured knee reinforcements with space for inserts, and durable YKK zippers.

Durable Rip-Stop-reinforced material, VersaStretch fabric

The foundation of the design is NyCo Rip-Stop fabric with a grammage of 235 g/m2, composed of 50% cotton and 50% nylon, which provides very high mechanical resistance to tearing while maintaining natural breathability. In critical areas, breathable inserts made of flexible VersaStretch fabric with 4-way stretch have been placed, guaranteeing full freedom of movement during dynamic position changes. The applied Rip-Stop weave effectively prevents possible damage to the fabric from spreading, and NIR/IRR technology (Near Infrared / Infrared Reflective) means that all visible components absorb and reflect radiation to a degree similar to the natural forest environment, making detection by night vision devices more difficult.

8 ergonomic pockets

The trousers feature a system of 8 ergonomic pockets providing immediate access to equipment during operations:

  • 2 classic hip pockets - front compartments with reinforced edges protecting the fabric from damage caused by knife clips, flashlights, or multitools,
  • 2 rear pockets - reinforced open pockets that fit AR rifle magazines or larger EDC equipment items,
  • 2 spacious cargo pockets on the thighs - roomy transport pockets fastened with Canadian buttons, which guarantee safe carrying of equipment and convenient operation while wearing gloves,
  • 2 calf pockets - compartments on the lower part of the legs fastened with velcro, adapted for carrying a personal dressing or medical kit.

Trouser fastening and loops for a battle belt

The trousers are equipped with a waist adjustment strap with velcro, which allows precise adjustment of the circumference to the body shape and stabilizes the garment under heavy load. The design uses wide loops compatible with battle belts up to 50 mm wide, which prevent accouterment from shifting during running and crawling. Additionally, auxiliary loops integrated by the front loops allow small accessories to be securely attached using a carabiner or cord, and the fly is secured with a durable YKK zipper.

Knee reinforcements and leg adjustment

The knee area is equipped with contoured fabric reinforcements that increase durability during frequent kneeling on hard and rocky ground, with pockets for protective cushioning inserts provided within them. The bottom of the legs is fitted with drawstrings with elastic cords and cord locks, which allow the fabric to be tightened precisely around the upper part of the boots, protecting against sand, gravel, or insects getting inside.

wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage

The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is the camouflage currently in use by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland - the first camouflage designed and introduced for widespread use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern offers a combination of mimetic and disruptive properties thanks to the use of irregular patches of varying size. The colour scheme based on green, brown, and black has been adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making “Pantera” an apt choice for operations in native terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage are also the basic equipment of students of Military Uniformed Classes.

4-Way Stretch feature
4-Way Stretch

Materials with 4-Way Stretch technology feature the ability to stretch in four directions. They are flexible and conform to the body's movements for greater freedom and comfort.

VersaStretch feature
VersaStretch

VersaStretch is Helikon's proprietary fabric, characterized by high elasticity and lightness. The composition used is responsible for quick drying of the fabric and proper breathability.

Cordura feature
Cordura

Cordura is a material woven from durable nylon fibers, developed by DuPont. The structure of the material provides lightness and abrasion resistance, as well as weather resistance. Due to its properties, Cordura is widely used in tactical equipment.

IRR feature
IRR

Materials with IRR (Infrared Reflective) properties are designed to maximize the absorption and minimize the mission of infrared radiation, which is important for camouflage and avoiding detection by observation devices such as night vision devices.

YKK zippers feature
YKK zippers

YKK zippers are high-quality zippers commonly used in clothing and accessories, manufactured by the Japanese YKK Corporation - one of the world's largest zipper manufacturers.

Rip-Stop feature
Rip-Stop

Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.

NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) feature
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance)
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) is a material property of controlled reflection of radiation in the near-infrared (780-2500 nm) range, used primarily in tactical clothing and equipment. NIR-treated fabrics are designed to reduce the thermal emission and reflection of IR radiation, allowing the material's surface temperature to be kept close to ambient. This reduces the risk of detection of the wearer by electronic-optical surveillance systems, including night vision and infrared sensors. NIR technology significantly improves the effectiveness of camouflage in combat and low-light conditions.
PolyCotton Stretch feature
PolyCotton Stretch
PolyCotton Stretch is a modern fabric that is a combination of cotton and polyester with the addition of elastic fibers, most often elastane. Such a set combines the breathability and softness of cotton with the durability and resilience of polyester and elasticity that provides freedom of movement. This material is pleasant to the touch, dries faster than pure cotton, creases less and fits better.
NyCo feature
NyCo
NyCo is a fabric combining nylon and cotton, in which synthetic fibers increase abrasion resistance and accelerate drying, while natural fibers ensure breathability and comfort.
