I really liked the Helikon-Tex OTS Ultra AeroTech shorts for warm days. They are lightweight, comfortable, and almost unnoticeable when worn, which works great in summer and on longer walks. The fabric is thinner than in standard tactical shorts, but it still seems durable. Wearing them is comfortable; nothing rubs or restricts movement when sitting, walking, or being active. The pockets are designed practically, so a phone, keys, and wallet can be arranged conveniently without the feeling of overloading one area. The Shadow Grey shade is subdued and easy to match with T-shirts, shirts, and light sweatshirts. An additional advantage is that they dry quickly, which makes them a good choice for travel when you want to limit the number of clothes. They are not suitable for cooler days, but for summer, the city, trips into nature, and travel, they are truly a great purchase. I am very satisfied with them.

The shorts are made from AeroTech material with a grammage of 156 g/m2, which is characterized by lightness, breathability, and good moisture-wicking properties. Additionally, the material is covered with a hydrophobic coating, making the pants resistant to stains and splashes, which is particularly useful when working in the field or in challenging weather conditions.

Instead of a button, the pants have a wide velcro allowing adjustment within a range of about 6 cm. An elastic band is sewn into the waistband of the pants, improving the fit to individual body features. The fly is closed with a zipper made by the renowned Japanese company YKK. The two front belt loops have additional loops at the bottom, allowing for attaching, e.g., a carabiner.

Very nice shorts – they are lightweight, the material is pleasant to the touch, and they don't cause overheating. I like that they are above the knee in length. I chose the gray color, which works well in urban conditions and looks clean for a long time. At 175 cm tall and weighing 75 kg, size L was perfect.
