A sweatshirt featuring a hood in Tiger Stripe camouflage, crafted from fleece. The fabric delivers excellent thermal insulation, even in extreme cold, while effectively allowing excess heat and moisture to dissipate. Through the application of a dual-layer Hybrid Fleece material, each layer possessing unique characteristics, a superior level of thermal protection is achieved without adding unnecessary weight to the fleece.

340 g/m2 grammage, reinforced sleeves

The exterior utilizes classic thick fleece with a weight of 340 g/m2, while the interior is lined with Grid Fleece featuring a mesh design for enhanced comfort and increased breathability. To optimize thermal regulation, zippered vents are placed beneath the armpits. Cuffs are equipped with elastic drawstrings to ensure a secure fit around the wrists.

Zipper, extended cut, roomy hood

The sweatshirt features a two-way zipper closure. The back section is slightly extended to provide extra protection for the lower back against wind. The tailored fit ensures easy access to pockets and any gear attached to the waistband. The hood offers ample space to fit comfortably over a cap. A soft visor shields the wearer from water dripping onto the face. The hood is integrated into the collar in a manner that prevents the lining from exposing the neck, offering added wind protection to vulnerable areas. Soft Velcro panels on the shoulder pockets enable the attachment of patches or insignia. Laser-cut panels with dedicated grommets support the carrying of additional tools, such as tactical pens or compact flashlights.

Camouflage Tiger Stripe

Tiger Stripe is a series of camouflage designs that originated in Southeast Asia, with the variant created in the Republic of Vietnam standing out as the most recognized. The pattern draws inspiration from the French Lizard camouflage, modified to suit tropical environments. Tiger Stripe features irregular brushstroke-style bands in various shades of green and brown, interspersed with broader, grayish stripes all set against an olive or khaki backdrop. Such camouflage proves highly effective in dense jungle and tropical forest settings, providing excellent concealment among low to medium vegetation. The distinct pattern disrupts the outline of the wearer, making detection at close range challenging and enabling seamless blending into the shifting, shadowed terrain.     I really like this fleece jacket. At first, I wanted to buy the mk1 model, but I wasn't happy with the hood in that version, so I chose the mk2 with the smaller hood, which I think is better. I am 188 cm tall and weigh 100 kg – size 3XL fits perfectly. If you plan to go trekking with a backpack, I recommend this fleece because it breathes great, and the zippers under the arms improve ventilation. On colder days, when I’m not active, for example when walking the dog, I wear it under a rain jacket, which together makes a very warm set.

    I don't know if there's anything bad you can say about Helikon's products. Bought mainly for cycling during colder days. I am extremely satisfied with this product; numerous mesh pockets and additional vents guarantee that you won't get sweaty during intense pedaling, and the fact that you don't have to unfasten the front ensures you won't get chilled by the wind. If someone is looking for a good fleece, I can definitely recommend this one.

    The fleece is not as warm as its military, basic predecessor, in my opinion it is more breathable. The hood is described as spacious, so you can put a hat under it. Unfortunately, this may be true for people without a neck; if you have one, the brim of the hood sits on the top of your head. You could try pulling it on, but then it gets really tight at the back of your neck. It’s missing about 7 cm. The hood adjustment elastic broke after a week of use. It's not a big deal, but in such a fleece, it doesn't look good.

    I have been using the Polar for 9 months and I can honestly recommend it. It is comfortable, very warm, and pleasant to the touch. Compared to the previous version, it is definitely slimmer, so it will suit slimmer people more. It is also thinner, but thanks to the honeycomb-structured lining inside, I haven't noticed it being any colder than the original. I’m happy to wear it both when going out in the city and in the forest.
