I purchased Helikon-Tex OTP pants in Mud Brown color. The VersaStretch material is lightweight, thin, and very elastic, stretching in all directions and preventing overheating on hot days. Additionally, it repels water and dirt well. The pockets are well-designed, and the zip cargo pockets don't stick out. I've been using them for three months alternately: the knees haven't lost their shape, the seams are solid, and the freedom of movement is great. Perfect pants for summer.
Helikon-Tex SFU Next PolyCotton Rip-Stop Military Pants - Coyote
The SFU military pants are a widely recognized model known for their functional design and robust craftsmanship. Engineered for use in various environments, these combat pants offer dependable protection against both low and high temperatures, as well as resistance to mechanical wear. They also deliver effective camouflage while maintaining comfort and unrestricted mobility.
The SFU Next PolyCotton Rip-Stop version is designed with a more relaxed, roomier fit that reflects authentic military style. The pants’ measurements match the provided size chart, yet feature a broader cut at the hips and legs compared to standard models. Be sure to note the distinctive cut when selecting your size.
PolyCotton in Rip-stop weave, solid construction
Constructed from PolyCotton Rip-Stop fabric, these pants feature a composition of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. Renowned for its high resistance to abrasion and tearing, the fabric remains lightweight and quick to dry. With a fabric weight of 215 g/m2, the pants deliver robust durability without adding excess weight for the wearer.
Areas prone to wear, including the knees and seat, are reinforced with an additional fabric layer for enhanced durability.
9 practical pockets
The SFU Next features nine functional pockets designed for convenient gear transport. All pockets are strategically placed for quick access and effective organization.
- Two spacious cargo pockets on the sides of the thighs are secured with Velcro and include interior organizational straps.
- Two back pockets provide secure storage for valuables requiring enhanced protection.
- Two traditional hip pockets offer easy access for frequently used accessories.
- Two low-profile thigh pockets are ideal for carrying smaller essentials.
- One calf pocket is perfectly suited for stowing a personal bandage or other compact items.
Additionally, special internal knee pockets for protective pads are built into the legs, offering increased protection during intense activity.
No metal parts, waist adjustment
The SFU Next pants feature an opening that uses exclusively plastic buttons, with no metal elements incorporated into the design.
A drawstring waist adjustment system enables a secure fit without needing an extra belt. Positioned beneath the front belt loops, D-rings—robust handles—provide attachment points for essential tactical gear, such as a lanyard, carabiner, or other accessories requiring quick access.

Very sturdy uniform trousers. The Helikon-Tex SFU Next fit well, are comfortable, and durable thanks to the Rip-Stop material. Lots of practical pockets make them perfect for the field and for airsoft. The WZ.93 Pantera PL Woodland pattern looks classic and provides good camouflage. Overall, a very good choice.

Nice pants, pleasant material, adjustable option, many well thought-out pockets. The material is solid and should protect against basic abrasions. They even have space for knee protectors.
-
Comfortable, durable pants, they don't absorb water quickly, dry fast, have many pockets, ideal for the shooting range or tactical training. They don't require ironing. I recommend them.
-
The trousers are characterized by excellent workmanship quality, they are sturdy, functional, have many pockets, are available in a rich color palette, and look very good even after numerous washes and dry quickly. With a height of 180 cm and a weight of 80 kg, size M fits perfectly.
-
Strong, comfortable and in a legendary colorway. The Rip-Stop checkered material really prevents tears – tested in thick bushes. The waist adjustment with Velcro allows for a perfect fit without the need for a belt. The best cargo pants in this price range. I definitely recommend them!

Satisfied with the pants, I've been wearing them for a year and they haven't really lost their appearance. I recommend them to anyone who values a loose and comfortable fit. Very spacious pockets.
-
I use them as workwear. Comfortable and durable, they dry quickly, I immediately bought more pairs for home use. At a height of 177cm and weight of 68kg, size S is perfect. No need for a belt thanks to the adjustment.

The trousers seem solid when it comes to the quality of the material. Well made. The sizing is off. I am 186 cm tall, weigh 72 kg, size S Long fits well at the waist but the legs are definitely too wide. There is way too much material in the thighs. My build is as mentioned, slim, but at the calf height, I can easily fit both legs into one pant leg :/ (calf 39 cm). I have a lot of things from this brand and I think they make very good products, but the sizing of these trousers still needs to be improved.

My favorite pants, I've worn out about 5 pairs over the last 10 years (it would be less, but I made a hole in the knee of one pair when I fell off my bike—after that, they became shorts, and I had to buy new ones). I have them in gray and woodland. The material holds color well and does not fade. Comfortable, loose, and breathable in summer; in winter, there's enough room to wear thick long johns and go out in the frost. I really appreciate the small pockets with elastic loops hidden inside the cargo pockets—thanks to them, a folding knife, tourniquet, and flashlight stand upright in the pocket instead of falling to the bottom and bumping my leg like in traditional BDUs. It's good that the cargo pockets are closed with both Velcro and a button because Velcro eventually stops working. The back pockets have a clever entrance design, so nothing can fall out of them, even though they don't have a closure or flap. The best pants. It's a pity this is the end of the line. The Mk2 does not measure up.

The pants look very good. The material appears to be solid. I really like the coyote color in real life and I think it differs from the one in the picture because it's darker. The pants are wide and could be a bit narrower. However, that doesn't bother me. They're cool and I like them. The service and shipping speed were exemplary. I recommend it.

Comfortable, even though the leg is quite loose, lots of pockets, some are a bit flat, but nicely divided, with special straps inside, so you can organize your things. Size M for 176 cm height and ~83 kg is a bit too long, if I lost a few kilograms I would go for S Long. The gray color is quite nice, and for this price (on sale for 93.70) it's a decent pair of pants.
-
The pants are comfortable and well made. Size M fits perfectly for 178cm and 78kg. The description says it's a loose fit, and that's true. If someone prefers pants that are closer to the body, keep that in mind. One more thing. The pants easily pick up hair, in my case, cat hair. This requires constant cleaning. My son is pleased, so I am too. I recommend them.

This is already my second pair of pants and I have to admit that they fit very well. Durable, tested during overnight stays in rather tough conditions, well-fitted, they did not hinder any coordination activities related to the task.

The pants are nice, with plenty of pockets and interesting solutions, made from excellent material, but unfortunately I couldn’t find the right size. Size S was too tight at the waist, in M I felt lost and even the waist adjustment didn’t help. The pants are also much longer than the Helikon UTP Denim Stretch I previously ordered.
