Helikon-Tex Windrunner WindPack Nylon Field Jacket - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
Ultralight anorak-style windproof jacket with a regular fit in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, intended for tactical operations, tourism, and everyday use in changing weather conditions. The construction is made of densely woven Windpack Nylon fabric with a DWR hydrophobic coating and IRR/NIR technology, which provides effective protection against wind penetration and reduces visibility under night vision. The model is equipped with an adjustable hood, a YKK half-zip zipper, mesh ventilation panels under the arms, and a self-pack system allowing the entire jacket to be packed into a dedicated inner pocket.
Windpack Nylon fabric, DWR hydrophobic coating, and IRR/NIR technology
The outer layer is made of ultralight WindPack Nylon fabric with a grammage of 40 g/m2, which is characterised by optimal breathability, quick-drying properties, and very good protection against the chilling effects of wind. The material is protected with a DWR hydrophobic coating (Durable Water Repellency), which prevents moisture from penetrating deep into the fabric, slows down soaking, and makes dirt easier to clean off. The fabric has undergone IRR/NIR (Near Infrared / Infrared Reflective) treatment, thanks to which it absorbs and reflects near-infrared radiation in a manner similar to the natural forest environment, effectively reducing silhouette contrast in night vision devices.
adjustable hood, underarm ventilation, reinforcements on the elbows
The anorak construction has been designed to reduce the number of seams and minimise weight. The ergonomic hood with drawstring adjustment effectively protects the head from wind and light precipitation, while the mesh ventilation openings placed under the arms support efficient air circulation during dynamic movement. The elbow area is secured with additional fabric reinforcements, while the cuffs with sewn-in elastic and the bottom drawstring allow the jacket to be precisely sealed against drafts.
functional pockets and self-pack system
The model is equipped with functional pockets integrated into the anorak construction:
- large front pass-through pocket - fastened with a zipper, allowing quick access to the most necessary items and warming the hands,
- two inner pockets - secure compartments making it easier to carry small equipment or a phone,
- self-pack inner pocket - a pocket serving as an integrated transport cover that fits the entire rolled-up jacket.
YKK fastening
The fastening is a short half-zip zipper from the renowned Japanese brand YKK, which makes it easier to put the jacket on over the head and allows efficient regulation of airflow around the neck.

wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage
The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is currently used by the Polish Armed Forces. It was the first camouflage pattern designed and introduced into widespread use in the Third Polish Repubic. The 1993 pattern combines mimetic and deforming properties through the use of irregular spots of various sizes. The color scheme, based on green, brown, and black, has been adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making "Pantera" a good choice for operations in the native terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage pattern are also part of the basic equipment for students of Military Uniform Classes.

Materials with IRR (Infrared Reflective) properties are designed to maximize the absorption and minimize the mission of infrared radiation, which is important for camouflage and avoiding detection by observation devices such as night vision devices.
DWR (Durable Water Repellency) is a durable waterproofing treatment that increases the surface tension of water and creates a hydrophobic coating on materials. It protects the material from rapid soaking, improves drying, provides stain resistance and increases breathability.
YKK zippers are high-quality zippers commonly used in clothing and accessories, manufactured by the Japanese YKK Corporation - one of the world's largest zipper manufacturers.
Selfpack is a specially designed pocket located inside the jacket. It is used to fold and stow the jacket into a compact pack, making it easy to transport and store. With this solution, the jacket can be easily packed and carried without the need for additional covers or bags.
WindPack is an ultralight material used in outdoor clothing that provides protection from wind and light rain. It is characterized by high durability, yet is easy to fold, allowing it to be packed into a minimal size.
