A thin piece of cloth with windproof properties. Waterproofing or water resistance simply does not exist here. The smock is very packable. Breathability is average and heat retention is also quite poor, but that is not what it was designed for. For ASG games or some hunting as a camouflage element, this smock will work perfectly. The front pocket, in my opinion, is only for some light items. Heavier ones make the front hang terribly. For this sale price, a strong 4.5/5.

This windbreaker made a great impression on me as soon as I took it out of the packaging. The quality of workmanship, the very thin yet durable material, the cut, and in my case the Desert Night Camo version – I rate all of it very highly. In September I still did not have the opportunity to test it in the field, but I know the properties of the fabric it was made from very well, and that is exactly why I decided to buy it. I was looking for an ultralight second layer for trekking in warmer months, worn only over a thin functional T-shirt. With that in mind, I also chose the size – XS fits perfectly for a 108 cm chest, 177 cm height, and 75 kg weight. Nothing hangs loose, and at the same time nothing feels tight. The jacket is carefully sewn, and Helikon still maintains a high standard, which is why I also gladly reach for their other products. The only thing I would change is the elasticated sleeve ends. I think they are too tight and therefore less comfortable; a thin, flexible cuff would be a better solution. Other than that, I have no complaints – both the low weight and the compact packed size make it practically unnoticeable in a backpack. This thin nylon was originally developed for the military with rapid movement in mind, without the need for complicated clothing changes. Regardless of what is underneath, the jacket provides very good breathability and effective wind protection, exactly in line with its intended purpose. It is not a rain jacket, because other materials are used for that. For my use and in the role described, it is an excellent choice and I can recommend it with full confidence.

The main function of this jacket is to protect against the wind, yet during a trip to the mountains I felt every gust. I think it is useless because it does not even protect against light rain. Unfortunately, this is the first time a Helikon product has disappointed me :( At this price, you can definitely find better solutions. The only plus is its small size and weight - you can even pack it into a waist bag.

Absolutely phenomenal! This is already the third little jacket like this in our family ;-) It’s always in the backpack or strapped to the trousers during short trips. It works perfectly in the mountains when, during the ascent or on the summit, the sun goes behind the clouds and a cold wind starts blowing. It’s not a rain jacket; the thin nylon doesn’t keep you warm, it only protects against the wind = as an emergency jacket, it’s great!

When I received the Windrunner anorak, I had a chance to test it even now, right in the middle of summer, during a stay in the forest. At one point it became quite cool and windy, and the Wind Runner protected me very well from that without causing overheating or sweating — it was simply very comfortable. The material is not excessively noisy, although for hunters it still may not be the ideal option, but I do not have much experience in that area. The ordering and delivery process itself is lightning fast, provided, of course, that DHL operates without problems. I still have not come across a company that processes orders so quickly and delivers them even faster!!!! So far I have not had to exchange anything either, because everything has always fit well. I can honestly recommend this company — it is really hard to say anything more about it than that!

Lightweight. Good as wind protection. For rain, you need to have a poncho. I had trouble finding the pocket it packs into. It is quite snug-fitting. It is worth choosing a larger size, or planning to wear only a thin fleece underneath, and even then it is OK at a feels-like temperature of 0°C.

Very good jacket, I already have one from Termontane for outdoor trips, and I use this one every day. It works great – it's comfortable, has a loose fit, well-placed pockets, and good ventilation, everything is made with great attention to detail. The jacket has a factory impregnation that protects against rain and it even handled light rainfall. I recommend the purchase.

I already have three Windrunner jackets because I value them highly. I didn’t really need another one, but when you love something, it’s hard to resist, so I chose the model in Polish panther camouflage, which I liked very much. It's a shame that the night camo version is no longer available, because I would have gladly bought that too.

Excellent windbreaker, it has become my new favorite piece of clothing. It effectively protects against the wind, is lightweight, and easy to fit in a bag. At a promotional price of less than €50 it is really worth it, but I think the regular price is too high.
