Helikon-Tex Wolfhound Hoodie WindPack IRR Jacket - wz.93 pantera PL Woodland

A lightweight insulated jacket with a regular fit in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, intended for patrols, shooting activities and outdoor use in cool and damp conditions. It is made of windproof WindPack Nylon fabric with a hydrophobic coating and IRR/NIR technology, reducing visibility under night vision, and filled with efficient synthetic Climashield Apex insulation with a grammage of 67 g/m2. The model features an adjustable hood, elastic VersaStretch panels under the arms, a two-way YKK main zipper and 4 functional pockets compatible with a backpack hip belt.

The outer layer is made of ultralight, densely woven WindPack Nylon fabric with a grammage of 40 g/m2, which effectively protects against wind, dries quickly and provides optimal breathability. The surface of the fabric is covered with a hydrophobic coating that prevents moisture from penetrating quickly and makes it easier to remove dirt in the field. Thermal insulation is provided by synthetic Climashield Apex insulation with a grammage of 67 g/m2, which does not clump, offers high compressibility and retains its warming properties even when wet. Elastic VersaStretch fabric inserts are sewn under the arms to support thermoregulation and freedom of movement, while the NIR/IRR (Near Infrared / Infrared Reflective) properties reduce the contrast of the silhouette in night vision devices.

Ergonomic hood with adjustment and elastic trim precisely shields the head from gusts of wind and light rain. The cuffs and lower edge of the jacket are finished with elastic rubber trim, which automatically adapts to the body and seals the construction against chilling air. Critical zones on the elbows and shoulders are protected with additional fabric reinforcements, and the set includes a practical compression cover that makes it easier to carry the jacket in a backpack.

The jacket is equipped with 4 ergonomically arranged pockets secured with zippers:

• outer chest pocket - a vertical zippered compartment for quick access to a phone, small notebook or map,
• 2 side pockets - lower pockets positioned at a height that allows convenient access to the inside also when the backpack hip belt is fastened,
• inner pocket - a secure space intended for carrying documents, a wallet or sensitive electronic devices.

The main closure is a two-way zipper from the renowned Japanese brand YKK, which allows it to be unzipped from the bottom for efficient access to accouterment carried on the belt and also facilitates temporary ventilation.

The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is the camouflage currently used by the Armed Forces of the Republic of Poland - the first camouflage designed and introduced for widespread use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern offers a combination of mimetic and deforming properties thanks to the use of irregular patches of different sizes. The colour scheme based on green, brown and black was adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making “Pantera” a fitting choice for operations in domestic terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage are also standard equipment for students of Military Uniformed Classes.
