Helikon-Tex Wolfhound Windpack Nylon Jacket IRR - wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland
A lightweight insulated jacket with a regular fit in wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, designed for tactical field operations, patrols, and everyday use in cooler conditions. The construction is made of windproof Windpack Nylon fabric with a hydrophobic coating and IRR/NIR technology, which ensures durability, protection against moisture, and effective camouflage under night vision. The model is equipped with efficient synthetic Climashield Apex insulation, elastic VersaStretch inserts, 4 functional pockets with YKK zippers, and an included compression sack.
Windpack Nylon material, Climashield Apex insulation and VersaStretch inserts
The outer layer is made from ultra-lightweight, densely woven Windpack Nylon fabric with a grammage of 40 g/m2 (100% nylon), which effectively blocks wind and dries quickly. The material is protected with an outer hydrophobic coating that limits the penetration of moisture and dirt into the fabric structure, and it has also undergone IRR/NIR (Near Infrared / Infrared Reflective) treatment that minimises silhouette contrast in night vision devices. Elastic, highly breathable VersaStretch fabric panels are sewn under the arms to improve air circulation and guarantee full freedom of movement.
Climashield Apex filling
The filling consists of synthetic Climashield Apex insulation with a grammage of 67 g/m2, which is characterised by excellent compressibility, optimal breathability, and keeps you warm even after complete soaking.
fleece-lined collar, elastic VersaStretch cuffs, adjustable drawstring at the bottom, transport cover
The jacket construction has been designed to be worn as a standalone outer layer or as an insulating layer under a hardshell membrane jacket. The inside of the stand-up collar is finished with soft fleece, which prevents neck chafing and improves thermal comfort. The cuffs are finished with elastic binding made of VersaStretch material, and the bottom of the jacket is equipped with an adjustable drawstring, which prevents wind from getting underneath. The jacket features very low weight and high compressibility, so it can be packed down to a compact size and stored in the included transport cover.
4 functional pockets
The model is equipped with 4 practical pockets fastened with YKK zippers:
- two side pockets - spacious hip pockets, positioned to allow convenient access to the contents even when the backpack hip belt is fastened,
- chest pocket - an outer pocket closed with a vertical zipper, intended for safely carrying a phone, notebook, or map,
- inner pocket - a discreet pocket placed inside the jacket, intended for valuables, documents, or a wallet.
main YKK closure
The main closure is a full-length zipper from the renowned Japanese brand YKK, which operates smoothly and allows the jacket to be quickly unzipped to regulate temperature.
velcro panels
Velcro panels have been placed on the shoulders, allowing the attachment of identification emblems, formation patches, the national flag, or Morale Patches.

wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage
The wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage pattern is the camouflage currently used by the Polish Armed Forces - the first camouflage designed and introduced for widespread use in the Third Polish Republic. The 1993 pattern offers a combination of mimetic and disruptive properties thanks to the use of irregular patches of different sizes. The colour scheme based on green, brown, and black has been adapted to the conditions of Polish forests, making “Pantera” an accurate choice for operations in native terrain. Uniforms in this camouflage are also basic equipment for students of Military Uniformed Classes.

VersaStretch is Helikon's proprietary fabric, characterized by high elasticity and lightness. The composition used is responsible for quick drying of the fabric and proper breathability.
DuraCanvas is a densely woven fabric with high resistance to abrasion, tearing, and sparks from a campfire. It performs well in demanding outdoor conditions, especially when working around a campsite. The fabric is suitable for waxing, which improves its water resistance and durability. At the same time, it remains breathable and flexible for comfortable movement. It combines the toughness of traditional workwear with the functionality of modern outdoor clothing.
Materials with IRR (Infrared Reflective) properties are designed to maximize the absorption and minimize the mission of infrared radiation, which is important for camouflage and avoiding detection by observation devices such as night vision devices.
YKK zippers are high-quality zippers commonly used in clothing and accessories, manufactured by the Japanese YKK Corporation - one of the world's largest zipper manufacturers.
