Highlander Forces Blackthorn Gen. 2 1-Person Tent 1 XL - Arid MC Camo

Featuring a lightweight, compact design, this 1-person tent is constructed from robust and tear-resistant 190T polyester. The rainfly includes a polyurethane coating and glued seams, offering a water resistance rating of 2000 mm/m2. The second-generation edition boasts an upgraded structure and comes with a transport cover featuring a sturdy Roll-Top closure. The XL version is perfect for users who require extra internal space and convenient storage for additional gear.

Fiberglass frame, increased fire resistance

Enhanced fire resistance ensures greater safety during operation. The reinforced floor, featuring a water resistance of 3000 mm/m2, delivers reliable protection from moisture on the ground. The frame utilizes lightweight yet robust fiberglass poles with a diameter of 6.9 mm. A system of clips and attachment points enables rapid and efficient assembly of the tent even under challenging conditions.

Lockable vestibule, built-in mosquito net, clothes line

Access to the tent is secured with a zipper. The vestibule with a closing option is ideal for stowing gear or baggage. A built-in mosquito net enhances user comfort and practicality. An internal rope allows for hanging items, such as drying clothes.

Transport cover

    The tent is very easy to set up, it takes a maximum of 5 minutes. The main sleeping area is basically a mosquito net, and a solid flysheet is placed over it. We insert two poles, which are stiff. It might seem that they could break, but there's nothing to worry about because they are durable. Then you just use the pegs to stretch the tent and it's ready. I spent a night in 4 degrees and I can confidently recommend it; it's definitely better to get the XL version because of the extra centimeters.

    The packed tent is small, perfect for bike trips. It sets up very quickly; without the flysheet, you can do it in 3 minutes. When unfolded, it is compact and thanks to the camouflage, practically invisible. Even though it's small, I had a lot of space inside (I'm 1.8 m tall). As for comments, the vestibule could indeed be bigger, but I still managed to fit my backpack and shoes in it. There is also quite a bit of condensation inside, but only on the flysheet.

    Very good camouflage, the tent is well made, strong, the waterproofness is perfectly sufficient, and when folded it takes up very little space in the backpack. However, the tent inside is very small and quite uncomfortable for a person over 1.7 m, poorly ventilated, there is quite a lot of condensation inside, and only shoes fit in the vestibule. I recommend it if someone is looking for something very small.
