A folding knife designed for daily carry (EDC). The blade features a Wharncliffe profile and a satin finish, crafted from 14C28N stainless steel, known for its exceptional edge retention and resistance to corrosion.

Deployment is achieved via a flipper, with an additional thumb hole for versatile opening options. A ceramic ball bearing system in the knife’s pivot enhances the smoothness of the action. For safety, the blade locks in the open position with a Liner Lock. The spine of the blade includes jimping (textured notches) that offer a secure thumb placement, improving control and precision during use.

The handle is constructed from glass fiber reinforced nylon. Its honeycomb-patterned, non-slip texture ensures a firm grip. A spring-loaded, deep-carry steel clip (tip-up, suitable for left or right carry) allows for comfortable and discreet attachment to a belt, pocket, backpack, or other gear. The presence of a Lanyard Hole at the handle’s end permits the attachment of a safety cord.

Honey Badger

Militaria.pl is a distributor of Honey Badger.

Honey Badger is a brand of EDC knives created in 2014 by South African designer Marc Ager, who has been involved in the outdoor and hunting industry for many years. The first models - Claw, Hook, and Flipper - were presented in 2016 at the HuntEx trade fair in Johannesburg and immediately gained recognition thanks to their solid construction, ergonomics, and exceptional value for money. The brand is characterized by lightweight designs with a convenient ball bearing opening system, available in many variants suitable for everyday use. Today, Honey Badger is present on international markets, with official distributors in the US, France, Australia, and New Zealand, among others. The brand name refers to the honey badger, a predator known for its courage and tenacity, symbolizing the character of the knives: small but extremely durable and effective.

A very nice knife from HB. Very decently fitted (though it required a slight adjustment of the pivot screw). Pros: Very well made, it makes a really solid impression. It's light and small for the size of blade it has. The full flat grind + wharncleaver shape makes it an ideal companion for slicing and chopping. It cuts through apples like a lightsaber ;-) Not suitable for stabbing, prying, etc. It's a typical cutting tool. 14C28N steel seems well hardened, easy to sharpen and holds an edge decently. The blade runs on bearings and opens/closes very smoothly. Instant, smooth reaction to the small flipper. Also a plus for the deep carry clip (completely disappears in the pocket) and the scale texture that resembles honeycomb and doesn't slip even in a wet hand. HB even included a key that lets you tighten the screws if necessary. Cons? I had to slightly tighten the blade pivot screw. And that's basically it. Out of the box it was sharp, and after a few strokes on ceramic it was shaving-sharp. To sum up—I recommend it, it's a good tool, maybe not the most beautiful or 'tactical,' but it definitely works well for everyday use!
