A bit too big for EDC (the standard version works much better). As a curiosity or for Krakow, it's great.
The Large TDI Law Enforcement Knife is the creation of John Benner, founder of the Tactical Defense Institute, head of the American Drug Task Force, and SWAT unit commander.
Engineered primarily for American law enforcement, the Ka-Bar TDI meets the demands of professionals. Compact, lightweight, and exceptionally sharp, it features a specialized handle that provides a highly secure grip. The knife is grasped in a manner similar to a pistol.
A tactical sheath, attachable to either the inside or outside of the belt, secures the knife firmly while enabling rapid deployment.
Crafted from a single piece of AUS-8 steel, the blade sports a black, anti-reflective finish.
The handle is constructed from Zyte®l composite with a non-slip surface for enhanced control.
Included is a black composite sheath equipped with mounts compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system.

Ka-Bar is a brand whose history dates back to the late 19th century, and which gained real fame during World War II, when the Fighting Utility model was officially adopted by the US Marine Corps. The durable and versatile knife quickly became legendary, proving itself both in combat and in the daily tasks of soldiers. The name Ka-Bar itself comes from the 1920s, when a trapper described in a letter how he managed to “kill a bear” with a Union Cutlery knife. In 1952, wanting to emphasize the power of this symbol, the company officially changed its name to Ka-Bar Knives Inc., and its products are still considered a model of reliability today. An important chapter in the brand's history is also its collaboration with Ethan Becker, which resulted in the Becker series, highly valued by users, combining practical solutions with a modern approach to knife design.

Great knife for self-defense. The handle is angled in relation to the blade, which allows for a very comfortable grip and makes it easy to carry on a belt. The knife can be quickly and conveniently drawn from the sheath, only overcoming the resistance of the material (the elastic plastic sheath grips the blade).

Solid knife that boosts confidence. The grip fits perfectly in the user's hand.

Great knife. Factory sharpened so well it shaves hair off your arm. The blade is thick and solid, the handle is also massive and sits firmly in the hand. Very good sheath, holds the knife securely, you can carry the knife on the right or left side, inside or outside the belt. The molle straps on the sheath are strong, holding securely with both a clip and Velcro. I feel like buying a second one just to make a set :)
