Light automatic knife. Very good quality of workmanship and materials. It's pleasant to use, very satisfying to open and close. I recommend trying it out.
Kershaw Livewire Spring Knife - Merlot/Blackwash
Spring-assisted knife equipped with a Spear-Point blade crafted from CPM MagnaCut stainless steel, finished using the Blackwash technique. Designed by American knifemaker Matt Diskin. The ergonomic handle features textured aluminum with a Merlot anodized finish. Easy everyday carry is ensured by an integrated clip.
Spear-Point blade, CPM MagnaCut steel
Featuring a spear-point blade crafted from CPM MagnaCut stainless steel and tempered to a hardness of 62-64 HRC, this knife delivers impressive resistance to abrasion while maintaining reliable corrosion resistance. The blade showcases a Blackwash finish, effectively minimizing glare and concealing any scratches acquired during use.
Equipped with an OTF (Out The Front) deployment system, the knife’s blade deploys straight out from the front of the handle via a robust, spring-driven mechanism. Blade release is efficiently managed through a knurled slider positioned along the spine.
Automatic opening
A knurled slider on the handle deploys the knife. Sliding the slider downward engages the spring and retracts the blade.
Aluminum handle, springy clip
Featuring a textured handle crafted from lightweight and rugged 6061-T6 aluminum with a Merlot anodized finish, this knife ensures both durability and a secure hold. The ergonomic design and grip-enhancing texture promote safe handling during tool use. Outfitted with a deep-carry clip in a tip-up orientation for daily convenience, the knife can be reliably fastened to a belt, pocket edge, backpack, or additional gear. Clip placement is configurable for both right and left-handed users.
NOTE
Polish regulations do not set any limitations on knife opening mechanisms. In contrast, certain foreign jurisdictions may enforce rules that restrict or ban the possession of specific types of knives—before traveling internationally with a knife, consult the relevant regulations.

Super lightweight and devilishly sharp. It has a bit of play, but that's generally how OTF knives are. I was tempted by the attractive price and the black washed blade finish. Time will tell how durable it is. I recommend it!

This is not my first OTF, also from the premium class, and this knife can surely be counted among them. Great knife, carefully made, superb mechanics, high-quality materials!!! This knife is worth its price. Bravo Kershaw!!! I hope this knife will gain fans worldwide, as there's plenty to praise!!!

Light with phenomenal mechanics and great steel—what more could you want. Minimal blade play, which is normal for this design. A very pleasant clicker, I recommend it!
