Gore-Tex Membrane
Gore-Tex is a thin membrane made of polytetrafluoroethylene (ePTFE), which features a microporous structure. Its structure makes it highly water- and wind-resistant, as well as breathable. The membrane's pores are 700 times larger than a molecule of water vapor, which allows it to efficiently wick moisture to the outside. Monowrap Sole
Monowrap is a three-dimensional shoe sole construction technology developed by Lowa. The combination of an injection-molded polyurethane rubber frame along with an outsole and cushioning foam provides better stability and protection for the foot. Great shoes, you don't need to break them in, they fit perfectly right after the first use. Super comfortable, allow for a whole day of hiking. They proved themselves in the mountains in all seasons. Highly recommend.

The shoes are solidly made, very light and comfortable. Used for a few months so far. They haven't been exposed to very tough conditions yet, but when the time comes, I feel I can rely on them.

Lowa boots are great and that's it, there's only one downside: they are extremely slippery in the middle part of the sole (under the foot) and you really have to watch out on stairs, especially with the rounded edge so you don't accidentally step with half your foot (heel on the stairs, toes in the air), because you could fall. Unfortunately, the same problem occurs in the men's versions of this model.

Super comfortable shoes, I recommend taking half a size bigger in case your foot swells and if you wear thicker socks. They are waterproof, your feet breathe well. Delivery was next day. Worth their price. I highly recommend!!!
