Insignia for the uniform of the Ukrainian Armed Forces at the rank of Staff Sergeant. The designation MM-14 comes from the abbreviation of маскувальний малюнок (maskuvalʹnyy malyunok = camouflage pattern) and marks the year 2014, when this camouflage was officially adopted. Sharing similarities with the American UCP design, the tones of MM-14 have been specifically selected to reflect the natural colors of Ukrainian landscapes. Adoption of the MM-14 camouflage was a crucial step in the modernization of the Ukrainian military, signifying a move away from the legacy of post-Soviet style. Commonly, MM-14 is also called Ukrainian Pixel Camo or Ukrainian Digital Camo.
