I bought it with ordinary hiking in mind. It fills very quickly, and the lack of a screw cap gives it a slimmer, flatter shape than models with a cap. The tube can be detached from the reservoir very quickly and easily thanks to the quick-release button. It is also insulated, which helps reduce heating up and cooling down. The small locking mechanism in the tube and the mouthpiece protected by a cover that can be removed in one motion are very practical — a quick-release button is used here as well. During use, I did not notice any plastic aftertaste.
