Large capacity translates into greater weight when the weapon is loaded. Another difference – due to the size – can be felt when shooting with position changes, on supports or lying down. But these are the only drawbacks. Other than that, no issues found :) Works flawlessly like any Magpul.

Magpul Industries Corporation is an American company founded in 1999 by former USMC Sergeant Richard Fitzpatrick. Its name comes from its first product, the MagPul grip, inspired by field solutions that facilitate quick magazine removal. The brand gained renown thanks to its PMAG polymer magazines for AR-15 platforms and STANAG-compliant magazines, known for their exceptional durability and reliability even with M855A1 ammunition. Another breakthrough was the M-LOK mounting system, which allows for quick attachment of accessories and has been adopted as a NATO standard. The company has built its reputation by focusing on the real needs of shooters, and obtaining a NATO Stock Number for EMAG has opened the way for large military orders.

Lately, Magpul magazines have become more difficult to obtain because they are continuously manufactured in the USA, and not in China or other cheaper countries, and in the USA they are subject to export restrictions. American production guarantees high quality, as they have been tested multiple times by the local community. In some specific rifles, the generation you buy matters - Gen2 vs Gen3.
