The grip area is constructed from robust DuraHide leather, delivering exceptional durability and resistance during intensive use. The exterior utilizes breathable TrekDry fabric, which minimizes hand perspiration. The cuff features a velcro closure for secure fastening.

The outer layer of these gloves is reinforced with robust panels crafted from TPR (Thermal Plastic Rubber - thermoplastic rubber compliant with EN 13594). Engineered to provide excellent protection against abrasions and impacts encountered in various outdoor environments. Segmented panel construction facilitates natural finger movement and flexibility. The palm side incorporates D3O inserts designed to absorb impact force and minimize vibration in the metacarpal region.

EN388-4111XP standard

The gloves comply with the EN388 level 4111XP standard for mechanical protection, meaning they offer:

  • 4: abrasion resistance (rated from 0 to 4)
  • 1: cut resistance (rated from 0 to 5)
  • 1: tear resistance (rated from 0 to 4)
  • 1: puncture resistance (rated from 0 to 4)
  • X: TDM (ISO 13997) cut resistance (rated from A to F)
  • P: certified impact protection (test passed)

The EN388 rating system specifies the glove's protective capabilities: a value of 0 reflects no protection, while maximum levels (4, 5) indicate the highest resistance.

Letter grades are used for the TDM (ISO 13997) testing method, where A marks the lowest protection and F represents the highest level.

The X symbol denotes an untested or irrelevant parameter. The P symbol signifies the glove fulfills impact protection standards.

    The Mechanix M-Pact gloves are very comfortable. The leather on the palm is good and the panels on top protect the hands well. In my opinion, they seem a bit short in the fingers, even though I don't have large hands. Overall, I rate my experience using them as a 5.

    Mechanix Wear M-Pact Partial Finger Coyote tactical gloves are not my first and won't be my last gloves from this company. I bought this model for summer. The craftsmanship is decent, and the inner material, both in texture and shade, is very practical. Dirt is hardly visible. The outer material is not a mesh or perforated, which is not mentioned in the manufacturer's description. It is multi-layered, and the last layer is translucent. I recommend them!

    Mechanix M-Pact gloves are very durable. Good leather on the palm and those panels on top protect the hands well. I prefer the M-Pact model with open fingers because they are more comfortable (not so stiff). This is already my fourth pair from Mechanix and I can say that if you're looking for comfortable gloves (not so armored), the Mechanix Original model is better.

    Overall it's cool, but I thought it would be a bit better. Even though the panels are breathable from the outside, the gloves are cool, but in my opinion, there should be gaps on the fingers to make them easier to bend.
