Constructed from plastic and synthetic leather, these gloves provide a secure grip in all environments. The back of the gloves features a waterproof fabric with a Rip-Stop weave, which protects against tearing or fraying after minor damage and delivers enhanced resistance to abrasion. A velcro strap at the cuff allows for an adjustable and secure fit. The gripping surface is reinforced with tough 0.8 mm synthetic leather, ensuring excellent grip and tactile feedback, and permits the use of touchscreen devices without needing to remove the gloves. A dedicated Lock Ring panel reinforces the critical thumb zone, boosting overall durability and minimizing seam vulnerability. Ribbed sections on the index finger and thumb elevate durability in high-wear areas and enhance grip accuracy.
The outer layer of the gloves incorporates reinforced panels crafted from TPR (Thermal Plastic Rubber compliant with EN 13594 standard) to shield against abrasions and impacts with hard surfaces, making them ideal for structural and CQB environments. Segmented panel construction provides seamless finger articulation. On the palm side, D3O inserts effectively dissipate impact forces and vibrations in the contact area. Enhanced hand side protection is provided by added AirHammer padding.
The gloves comply with the American safety standard ANSI/ISEA 105 at level 3XX for cut, abrasion, and puncture resistance, meaning:
- 3: abrasion resistance (measured on a scale from 1 to 6)
- X: cut resistance (graded from A1 to A9)
- X: puncture resistance (evaluated on a scale from 0 to 5)
The gloves adhere to the EN388 standard at level 2121XP for mechanical hazard resistance, defined as follows:
- 2: abrasion resistance (scale 0–4)
- 1: blade cut resistance (scale 0–5)
- 2: tear resistance (scale 0–4)
- 1: puncture resistance (scale 0–4)
- X: TDM cut resistance (ISO 13997) (scale A–F)
- P: impact protection (successfully passed testing)
Within the ANSI/ISEA 105 standard, abrasion resistance is ranked on a scale from 1 to 6, specifying the number of abrasion cycles a fabric can endure before wearing through. Cut resistance ranges from A1 to A9 (from minimum to maximum protection). Puncture resistance, scored from 0 to 5, reflects the amount of force needed to puncture the glove surface with a sharp object (excluding needle punctures).
The EN388 assessment levels indicate glove protection: 0 means no protection, while the top scores (4, 5) represent maximum resistance levels.
Under the TDM test method (ISO 13997), letter grades indicate protection, where A denotes the minimum and F the maximum level.
The X symbol denotes that testing did not occur for the parameter or it is not applicable. The P symbol signals that the glove satisfies the impact protection criteria.
