Constructed from Armortex fabric and synthetic leather, these gloves ensure a secure grip and help prevent slipping on slick surfaces. The upper section incorporates lightweight, breathable TrekDry material, effectively minimizing hand sweat. The cuffs are secured using Velcro fastening. The index finger and thumb are reinforced with synthetic leather, granting the ability to use touchscreen devices without the need to remove the gloves.
The outer surface of the gloves features reinforced panels crafted from TPR (Thermal Plastic Rubber— a thermoplastic material compliant with EN 13594) providing protection from abrasions and impacts encountered in the environment — an advantage in building entry and CQB scenarios. Segmentation of the panels enables unrestricted finger movement. The palm area comes fitted with D3O® padding to dissipate impact force and vibration in the metacarpal region.
The gloves are certified to the EN388 level 2121XP mechanical protection standard, signifying the following resistance levels:
- 2: abrasion resistance (scale: 0-4)
- 1: cut resistance (scale: 0-5)
- 2: tear resistance (scale: 0-4)
- 1: puncture resistance (scale: 0-4)
- X: cut resistance per the TDM test (ISO 13997) (scale: A-F)
- P: passed impact protection testing
The rating scales in the EN388 standard indicate glove protection levels: a value of 0 denotes no protection, while values of 4 or 5 indicate maximum resistance.
In TDM testing (ISO 13997), the scale uses letters, where A indicates the minimum protection and F represents the maximum protection.
An "X" marking signifies the parameter was not tested or is not applicable. The letter "P" confirms that the glove satisfies impact protection standards.
