Tactical gloves in Polish wz.93 Pantera PL Woodland camouflage, designed to provide essential mechanical protection for the hands. Constructed from Armortex fabric and synthetic leather, these gloves provide excellent hand grip and minimize the risk of slipping on smooth surfaces. The upper section features a lightweight, breathable TrekDry fabric that helps reduce sweat buildup. A Velcro closure secures the cuff. Reinforced synthetic leather on the tips of the index finger and thumb enables seamless touchscreen device operation without needing to remove the gloves.
The outer surface of the gloves is reinforced with robust panels crafted from TPR (Thermal Plastic Rubber – thermoplastic rubber meeting EN 13594 standards), delivering reliable protection against abrasion and impacts from external objects – making them perfect for use within buildings and in CQB scenarios. Segmentation of the panels allows for unrestricted finger movement. The palm side is enhanced with D3O pads, engineered to dampen impact forces and vibrations in the metacarpal zone.
The gloves comply with the protective requirements of EN388 level 2121XP for mechanical hazards, offering the following resistance:
- 2: Abrasion resistance (scale 0-4)
- 1: Blade cut resistance (scale 0-5)
- 2: Tear resistance (scale 0-4)
- 1: Puncture resistance (scale 0-4)
- X: Cut resistance - TDM method (ISO 13997) (scale A-F)
- P: Impact protection (test successfully passed)
The ratings within the EN388 standard determine the protection level of the gloves: a value of 0 signifies the absence of protection, whereas the highest values (4, 5) denote the greatest resistance.
In testing performed using the TDM method (ISO 13997), letter codes define the cut protection level, where A marks the lowest, and F signifies the highest.
X marking indicates a parameter was not assessed or is irrelevant. P marking means the glove fulfills the impact protection standard.
Currently used by the Polish Armed Forces, the wz.93 "Pantera" camouflage pattern represents the first camouflage specifically designed and widely implemented in the Third Polish Republic. Introduced in 1993, this pattern utilizes a combination of mimetic and disruptive effects, achieved through irregularly shaped spots of varying sizes. The coloration—comprised of green, brown, and black tones—was developed to suit the Polish forest environment, ensuring that "Pantera" delivers effective concealment during native field operations. Military Uniform Class students also wear uniforms featuring this camouflage as standard issue.
